Ridiculously staffed. Asked for grilled chicken salad waited over 30 mins just to receive the chicken… They had several parties but I know parties are pre-scheduled so the management should have scheduled accordingly. Poor management skills!

Lots of changes since I was last there. The woman who checked us in at the door was very friendly which is a good vibe for any business. They no longer have the salad bar all day. According to the cashier, it begins at 3:30pm. Instead, they have a pizza bar with a small assortment of pizzas and some green salad with a selection of dressings. We opted to use one of the email coupons instead, which is always a good deal. It took quite a while for our pizza to arrive, but not because of laziness. They were constantly working. Several of the games were not in operation. The manager seemed cordial, but tired. Still not sure what I think about the new card system. Seems like we used the credits awfully fast, even if they were only 10 – 15 credits. Not easy to keep track of credits left and we can never seem to use all of it because of the cost for the games. I do like coming to this place out of nostalgia. And the pizza is good. Maybe I just don’t like change.

Fun and easy kids party at Chuck E Cheese. Hands down less stressful and more affordable than my son’s 4th birthday at Funworks. It turned out to be a great value. Granted your not there for the food and the on line reservation process was was pain. The $ 30 worth of play points off set the bad website. I would definitely plan another party there.

This is one place I hate coming for b-day parties. If it’s a Friday-Sunday we aren’t going. It would be way to packed for me plus most parents don’t keep an eye out for their kids. When I was as kid I loved this place, why I don’t even know. So we take our little one and it was boring. She ran around form game to game not knowing what to do. You scan a card for points and get 2 – 3 or tickets. I guess it’s for kids and not me any more. So she ended up in the play structure like McD’s has. We could of went there for a family outing. LoL The employees are young and don’t pay attention to the front counter so we wait and wait for someone to come from the back for help.

What is the point to come here when most of the game is broken =/. It’s bad when you have 4year old complaining

The pizza is mediocre and the facility smells like a foot. For a huge chain like this it’s surprisingly dirty and the entire restaurant smells like a gym, which is not good. For the price this place is decent and that’s being kind. Games are in poor repair which I could forgive if it just didn’t smell so bad

Bring back the tokens! All the games now have a card and it’s expensive and not fun anymore. Kids used to be able to see how many tokens they had left and each game was only one token, but now u tap a card… Yay technology.

What a rip off! Our group ordered a pizza, It sat on the counter under the heat lamp for at least 10 minutes(my grandson saw it there). I finally walked over waved my number at the help in the back of the kitchen. They said oh we will deliver it soon. I said I would take it. The crust was dry(very cardboard like) the onions(fresh ingredients HA) were funyons. The pizza was LOUSY and higher priced than round table. Will never order food again. The soda was $ 2.49 for a very small cup. Hope I never have to attend another birthday party at this place.

My sister booked a party at this specific location. Her party started at 1:30. So let’s just say she arrive right on time for her kids birthday party. I didn’t show up until 2:45, being that I live almost two hours away. That’s besides the point… Chuck E Cheese decided to do this awesome hand stamp deal when you walk in, so no one could kidnap your kid, or anyone else’s. That was a great idea and all, but if the people they hire don’t care if the numbers match when walking out, then the whole idea is pointless. Back to my sister showing up at say 1:30. I know you guys don’t use the same number on a different family an hour and 15 mins after. My sister and her family walked out the door with my son. When I confronted the employee standing at the door checking stamps that he let my son walk out with someone else, he simply stated that his number matched my sisters. Yet he told me my number was different from my sons. He even gave us attitude saying that he did check numbers. I hope people think twice about the safety of their children before booking a party here. Your child is NOTSAFE. It looks great with their hand stamps, but don’t count on them to enforce it. A few hundred dollars spent per party and they don’t even care about the kids who frequent their business. Take your business elsewhere! I know I won’t be suggesting this place to anyone.

All though a little hectic. So many kids. But I will say the staff was very friendly. Much appreciated. Thank you.

This place was mediocre at best. Games weren’t that good and expensive to play. Pizza was absolutely horrible. Cheese was thicker then the crust and was very greasy. Only reason why I’m giving them 2 stars is because the staff was ok. Better places in town that do the same thing. I won’t be going back.

If I could give zero stars I would! Pizza taste like cardboard with cheese! Very unorganized staff an looks like needs a good deep cleaning! Growing up I loved Chunk E Cheese! But after that horrible experience an seeing how much its changed my family will not be going back!

This place is nasty. The service is bad, the food is bad, too many people and plain nasty. You would think the owners would invest more money in making this place bigger and provide better service. Definitely not coming back!

If you were to take TJ, East Oakland, «deep modesto» and a trailer park you would find the kind of people that were in this establishment this Saturday night. Crowded, dirty, ghetto people arguing cursing everywhere, chicken wing bones on the floor. Food was salty and nasty. WORST of all my car window was broken and they cleared out wallets purse bags etc. from the car. All within an hour, and what is worse is that my car was parked right in front of this lousy restaurant. When we got the manager all though very nice didn’t do anything for me. Gave us a non emergency # number to call, called it and basically told S.O.L. No one responds to these calls. Asked the manager to see the cameras, was not allowed to unless cops were involved. This place needs to A. Shut it down relocate B. Get a new chef/better ingredients/hold off salt. C. If they don’t relocate get security more cameras this place is GHETTO! D. Upgrade puppets I think I remember those when I was a child twenty something yrs ago.

Secure your belongings in your car. This chuck e cheese has 4 cameras outside and each one only shoots the 2 front doors. Amazingly enough is that two of those cameras are on the side of the building and can’t see the front door. I was here for two hours and while I was inside someone was outside breaking into my car. The manager at chuck e was no help at all other than giving me the sheriffs phone number. While you wait an hour for the sheriff to call you back to no avail 3 different transients walked up asking for money. They really need to move this location to a new secure area of town. You won’t get any help from any local law enforcement. They ended up directing online to enter my car burglary. My daughter had a good time playing games inside.

My daughters had the day off from school. Being that we commute to the Bay Area everyday, I didn’t really want to go to Chuck E Cheese out in Dublin. So we decided to go to the one in Modesto. Since it was a school day, there was probably five people in there total. There might have been more employees than customers at that point. When we first pulled up, I didn’t even know if they were open or not. But they were, so we headed inside. I’m not a big fan of CEC. Kids screaming, crying, whining… okay. Yes, I have three kids, but even I don’t like listening to them scream, cry or whine. I guess that’s why headphones are a parent’s best friend. Anyways, back to this CEC. We already had eaten lunch, so we were just here to play games and in the jungle gym. This actually seems like a pretty big CEC. Maybe it was just the layout of it. But obviously, since there was a total of ten people in the building, it was really clean. The bathrooms were super clean. It was nice and cool in there. My girls had fun acting like they had the place to themselves, because well, that’s what it felt like. The staff was friendly. I had fun winning Mario Kart every time I played. It was a good afternoon. Note: take your kids in the afternoon/morning. I’m sure it sucks the life out of you if you go on a weekend.
