A Perfect Tan

My sister is getting married this weekend, the owner graciously treated all four of us free of charge. If you want to feel like a princess visit Perfect Tan!

Went in for a tan today to the first time. Great service, and the receptionist was sooo helpful with all my questions as a first timer! Really clean, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a little color for the summer.

LOVE This tanning salon and even more love the girls that work there. Super friendly, always helpful and never have to wait long.

This place is awesome! Always super clean, and hardly ever a wait! The girls here Jessie and Cathryn are so sweet, and their customer service is exceptional! No complaints here. Been coming here for about two months, and won’t go elsewhere anymore. 5 stars by far! Thank you perfect tan!

Tried this place through a groupon deal and the owner is super nice and gives great customer service! The beds are always clean and I barely ever have to wait long to get in. I just wish they had mirrors, and maybe wipes to freshen up in the tanning rooms like other salons do, but there is a separate bathroom, which is what I use. So overall I’m still a satisfied customer and happy to have found this place!

I need a little color before an upcoming vacation so I decided to give A Perfect Tan a try. The salon is very clean and the beds are great! If you need some color give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to a perfect tan for years and always have great experiences. Very friendly staff that go above and beyond and the salon is extremely clean! My tan lasts much longer with their beds and doesn’t look orange at all.

I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before, but my experience here was so awful that I had to change that. I’ll keep this short and sweet, there were two main issues with my experience here:
1. Poor service. The woman at the front desk very very rude and not helpful, especially to my mother who had never gotten a spray tan before.
2. Old/​bad equipment. The machine that was used to tan us must have been one of the first tanning booths ever. It was so loud and just plain gross. This all resulted in a cheap looking orange tan.
In short, if you want a natural looking tan from a friendly business just don’t come here.

LOVE this place! Been coming here off and on for 10+ years… Jen and her staff are amazing… it’s ALWAYS clean, best choice of quality product, and equipment is always well maintained… will never go anywhere else!

Not too happy with my spray tan, luckily this was just a trial run before my friend’s wedding.
First, I was asked if I’m using the spray booth because pregnant… I have twin babies… yes, I have a slight beer belly –but I do NOT look pregnant! Who risks asking something like that unless you know for sure the woman is pregnant?!
Next the spray booth… I’ve only spray tanned once, but i didn’t have to buy the primer, lotion AND hairnet separately… All of that was provided as part of the service because you NEED those things. Not here, expect to pay another $ 3.
Then, I was given the run down on the process: how to apply the primer and lotion, the positions I needed to stand in and what I needed to do afterwards to ensure my hands didn’t turn orange and I don’t wind up with streaks. I did all those things and still turned out blotchy and a dirty orange color.
My previous experience in spray tanning had way less effort with better results. The machine also seemed to be more advanced than what they have at «A Perfect Tan» as well.

Best tanning salon in Modesto by far! The staff is always so friendly and helpful! The beds have European bulbs which are amazing! They replace the bulbs before they are even needed. The rooms are always very clean! A perfect tan is absolutely amazing!

Always friendly amazing staff here. They are super clean, salon is always perfect and clean. They always maintain there beds where u never leave without a tan. The beds r great! Great place to tan! Many beds to choose from including a stand up to get the hard to reach places! Friendly staff with great customer service! They are very good about making sure that you are taking it slow to insure that you do not burn! Very happy with my experience and will return!

My favorite place to tan. Best beds in town, I feel like I get a better tan here. They change the bulbs before they need it. Besides the beds being amazing the staff is even better. Always friendly and give great customer service. Been going to a perfect tan for years and I love it!

Great place very clean the owner very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable she should be she said she had been there for 18 years!!!
So she must being some thing right!
She explained how her tanning beds light bulbs are changed on a regular basis before they even really need to be reason being is the bulbs loose their tanning power every time they are used,
I did not know that so you learn something new everyday!
I would recommend this place great prices and friendly staff!

I had never tanned before and am kind of claustrophobic. The staff here made me feel very comfortable, explained everything, gave me a tour, and let me check it out before I bought anything. I“m definitely going back once I want to start tanning for summer. One thing I will say is that I never figured out how to work the radio in each room lol. But I can deal.

Zero stars here. I drove all the way across town because i wanted to use the coupon they recently put out. I used the 3 free tans and was told i can use one of the bigger coupons afterward. So after my 3 free tans i drive all the way across town to sign up for the months special at 19.99. Typical tanning salon b.s. you cannot use the coupon unless you sign a contract. At a rediculous $ 58 per month. I am very frustrated for taking time out of my day to drive there and then get told this. Very bad business from very bad business people. I hope they get closed down soon, they don’t have a clue what they’re doing down there. «A Perfect Joke»
