My wife and I took alot of time to meet and research at least 7 solar companies, from small start-​ups to the famous mega companies. After much research, Solar Farm was our top choice.
Solar Farm and their entire team were straightforward, clear, patient, technologically cutting edge and financially very competitive.
While we were initially concerned not going with a better known company Solar Farm’s relationship with Sun Power, an industry leader — allayed any unease.
They were the perfect choice for us — and in all facets of pre-​installation, getting necessary paperwork and approvals, installation and followup — they’ve been great to work with.
Their whole team, everyone from salespeople, coordinators, installers, electricians, etc.. were responsive, courteous and problem solvers. They made this seemingly daunting process — very simpleand seemless. In business, it’s becoming rarer to find a company that actually delivers what they say — on time and on budget. Solar Farm does.

We love our home and were so excited to go Solar! A good friend (also an engineer) referred us to NY State solar farm after we had a suboptimal experience with a big solar power «factory» type company. My husband and I are native to the orange county area, and were happy to work with a local business. Our experience began with Tate at NY State solar farm — a kind, respectful, and incredibly informative gentleman. That theme continued throughout our entire experience. NY State solar farm worked quickly and efficiently to provide a solar panel system tailored to our needs, without any issue at all. They walked us through every step. We are thrilled with our decision! They provided us with quality solar panels that produce enough energy so that we now only pay a minimal connection fee to our electric company — a fraction of what we were paying! I can monitor our solar production daily/​hourly via an app on my phone. And I can reach someone at any time if needed. I know we are in good hands, for years to come! I 100% recommend NY State solar farm to anyone interested in going solar, even my close friends and family!

We heard about NYSSF when we attended an event promoting solar energy in our town. They were there, and we decided to contact them for a quote and were pleased with the presentation by Tate, and the way things were explained to us by him and everyone with whom we dealt. They took care of all the details with New York state and permit requirements from our town, as well as the inspections needed and everything was done in a timely, efficient manner. I especially liked the electricians and installers, who were knowledgeable about the process and took the time to answer all of our questions.
Amy and the team at the office were always there to answer our follow up questions and provide us with paperwork and advice.
All in all, we enjoyed the experience and are happy with the savings we are realizing with our new system.

NYSSF has been an unbelievable company to work with throughout the entire process of getting solar. It was a two-​year process. After having contracted up with a different company a year before getting in contact with NYSSF, it turned out to be quite the blessing. Upon contracting with NYSSF, they immediately went to work for us. Having prior experience with the people down at town hall enabled things to get going quickly. However, we quickly ran into a snag with the town, as the town just passed solar installation laws as we contracted with NYSSF. NYSSF came up with several different plans to get a variance for the system that we were trying to get passed. We were informed by NYSSF that the system we were having installed was one of the biggest in Orange County, totalling 80 panels, as our house has a monthly KW usage of 2700 – 3100 KW. NYSSF was constantly in contact with us every step of the way letting us know what was being down as far as the town was concerned. After a 3^rd meeting at town hall, the approval finally came. Following approval, it was a matter of a few weeks before our system was up and running. It took 3 – 4 days to install, and a day or so to streamline everything else. Considering the size of our system, I was amazed. The owner, Anthony, personally came out to visit on the first day of the job. Tate, our sales person, was extremely professional and informative every step of the way. Aimee was extremely courteous in the scheduling of all appointments and gaining any information that was needed to expedite the process. The installation crews were extremely professional, courteous, and on time. A big thank you to everyone at NYSFF for all your hard work. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking to have their solar needs met.

I can’t say enough about my very positive experience with NYSSF’s installation of solar panels on my home – from the initial visit with informative and not pushy sales representative, Tate, to the courteous and respectful installation crew. The work was completed ahead of time projections, with all involved (sales, office, inspection, and installation personal) keeping me appraised of what to expect and willing to answer all and any of my questions. I was most impressed with how the design was customized to my situation, with arrangements determined NOT via satellite totally, as other prospective companies had done, but from a very thorough onsite inspection by a team of experts. I am enjoying a significant reduction in my electric bill. My favorite thing about NYSSF is THEY ARE LOCAL – I was not dealing with a company miles away!!! They get my highest recommendation!
