During a Saturday lunch I decided to eat here with the intention of satisfying my craving for good southern BBQ. Unfortunately I was disappointed and will have to look elsewhere. To be fair this restaurant, it’s physical location, the overall décor, and the service were good, so no faults there, keep it up. However it was probably the blandest excuse for brisket I’ve ever had. I attempted to stave off this bland, dry brisket with some of their in-house BBQ«sauce»… which had a very watery consistency. Also, I noticed that this restaurant has wi-fi but not for customers. For those curious… do yourself a favor and satiate those BBQ cravings somewhere else. Pass

As many have stated: Dry, tasteless, cold brisket with store bought potato salad. Not worth checking out.

Giving 1 star because I can’t give 0. Brisket was dry and tasteless. Not sure what that«sauce» is suppose to be but it certainly is not BBQ sauce. I remember a time when this place was actually good. Distance memory now…

Brisket was a little dry. Maybe due to them forgetting the BBQ sauce for my sandwich. Fried okra would have been perfect if it wasn’t over seasoned. Forget the drive thru.

This isn’t really bbq. It’s meat, with an odd sauce. The sides aren’t much better. The people are friendly though and I hope one day they can try good bbq. I have been there a few times due to its proximity to my home, hoping that maybe they were having an off night. The meat doesn’t really even taste smokey. Bad bbq can be somewhat saved with a great sauce, but I tried a little bit of the sauce and threw it out. They do have some crazy chernobyl sized potatoes though, so if you feel like spud overload go there, maybe get sausage on it since they probably don’t make it in house and it has a decent flavor.

This was one of our favorite places when we moved to the area. Lately it has gone a bit down hill. The sauce has been a lot spicier than usual the last few times, except tonight, tonight I got no sauce for my brisket. The drive thru is consistently bad about forgetting something. It’s obviously a trend with them bc they have a sign in their window saying you have to check your bag before you leave. Usually they forget the bread that comes with the beef plate, tonight it was the bread and the BBQ sauce. We’ve made it half way home before and realized the okra is missing. I’d say more times than not they forget something, and it’s difficult to dig through the bag to check for everything. Tonight the brisket was good… Even though I had to pair it with Kraft BBQ from the fridge. The three times prior it was so fatty it was barely edible. Hoping they can step up their game and get back to better service and quality.

I love their fast service and delicious bbq’s, and their complimentary soft serve is always a plus :) Cons — not the place to go to if you want something very healthy. I have a hard time finding a side that can be considered healthy. The green beans are canned, sweet potatoes have too much brown sugar over them, the potatoes have a lot«stuff» on/in them… But the few times I came to this place I was always really hungry so it hit the spot every time!

The food is delicious and the service is wonderful! The kids working are always kind and ready to help, speaking of service it is always fast! The food is great, although at times over priced it is worth it! Love it, I will definitely continue to frequent this location

I love the food here. Feel like the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork are all very tasty. They fry your okra just for you, so you get this nice piping hot bag of okra. Corn on the cob is «complimentary» so it’s like you’re getting three sides. I enjoy the food very much, but it quickly turns into at least 15 dollars if you’re getting two meats and a drink. The soft serve machine is nice too. I know there are some barbecue places with a lower price and pretty much same quality of food, so that keeps it from being 5 stars for me.

Brook Street is a good local bbq joint with a young friendly staff. Prices are a bit on the high end for bbq around the area; however, they tend to have a decent daily special. Service is quite fast if you’re in a hurry its a good spot.

— Mass produced barbeque. Sides with no taste. + Served quick and in a clean dining room. I ordered a two meat plate with brisket and sausage. The portions seemed small. Brisket had good smoke. Sausage had too much snap… could it be artificial casing? My sides of potato salad and green beans were uneventful. Green beans had no flavoring added. must be straight out of the can. Potato salad seemed close to being straight out of the carton. For my money. I’ll head to Big Horn in Pearland.

Acceptable brisket and sausage, unremarkable chicken. Poor value for the money — very small portions of meat for the price you pay. My wife was shocked at how little chicken she got for $ 10.95. Sides are good. Tasty potato salad, jambalaya and fried okra done well. Too many BBQ joints in town to ever come back here.

Pollo Campero’s loss is Brook Street BBQ’s gain. I went to Pollo Campero for lunch with my wife and they are now closed down in Missouri City. Drove down the street and happened to come across this place. What a great find. The location is clean and inviting. The staff was warm and courteous. I asked for a small taste of a micro-brew beer on tap and they gave me half a pint! I talked with the owner(VERY nice guy), asked about their BBQ(before I tasted it) about if they made it, he said yes and gave me a free bottle of it! Now THAT is how you treat customers and make them feel valued. I’m sure they can’t do that for everyone nor all the time but what kindness they showed me and made me feel welcome. Now the food: I got the 2x meat(brisket lean and jalepeno sausage) and my wife got the chopped beef sandwich. The brisket was good but a little too lightly seasoned(but was still tender and good), the sausage was spicy and not greasy(thanks!); my dish came w 3 sides(corn on the cob(what u expect), jambalaya rice(plain), and the ranch beans(pleasantly amazed)); my wife’s fries were good and seasoned. The condiment bar had the BBQ sauce on a warmer and carmelized onions too, nice touch! I felt the BBQ sauce was AMAZING. Sweet and a little spicy, and NOTRUNNY! Although different in their own ways, this place is about even to Rudy’s now for me, and Rudy’s is my favorite BBQ. People can screw up BBQ very easily but these guys nailed it, IMO. This place will be a once a week stop for me at lunchtime. Keep up the great work and thanks!

Need to improve their service or I predict they’ll close the business. Prices too high and kids working there screw up orders.

This place has the best sliced beef and turkey in sugar land. Much better than Spring Creek. It’s clean, kid friendly and can accommodate large groups easy. Also has a drive through.

Unfortunately this place and Spring Creek are the only ones close to Sienna and both are subpar. The bbq here is subpar, pretty dry and not that flavorful.

Brookstreet has remodeled a bit on the inside, adding more TV screens, making it a good place for sports. When the weather is good, there’s a nice patio. The BBQ can still be on the dry side, but they have good crawfish now that it’s in season. If they have mudbugs, it’s a solid pick.

I love BBQ and this place is NOT it. I moved to the area recently and was searching for a good BBQ place — I was very disappointed with this one. I tried it three different times thinking I might have gone on an ‘off’ day — but no luck. The ribs seem old and reheated to death and the brisket is dry and cut poorly. The chopped beef sandwich was passable, only because it is drenched in sauce. After the third time, I decided I will not be returning at any point in the future.
