I went to her for a bang trim and she cut them extremely short. I looked like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. I was so embarrassed I had to hide them under a hair band for a month. You would think a stylist with all the experience she claims to have wouldn't botch a simple bang trim. She is strange and needs to use deodorant. I think it might be time for her to retire.

Do not trust this woman with your hair! I wanted my light brown hair dyed ash blonde and she turned it yellow! It looked like someone peed on my head. She was ready to send me off like everything was fine. I pointed out the brassiness and she told me to fix it with blue shampoo. No offer to fix it herself. Unprofessional. Should have bought a box of Clairol and done it myself. Would have turned out better and I wouldn't have had to smell her B.O. for an hour.

Rachelle is amazing!!! I have been going to her for 20 years and she never disappoints. I go to her with all different types of pictures and she gets it on point every time! My mom, sister, and uncle all go to her too! We absolutely love her!!!

I’ve been getting haircuts from Rachelle for over 20 years — she is absolutely fantastic. She is a great listener to what a client wants. She is SO respectful of each and every customer. I’ve referred many people to Rachelle. Each cut is a signature for her and she takes incredible pride in her work. She is the best (by far) !

I have been going to Rachelle for over 9 years. During this time, I have moved twice (once to another state), but always plan to see Rachelle while I am in town. She is by far the best hairstylist I have ever had and that is why I always make it a point to schedule time to see her. Rachelle has colored, highlighted, permed, cut, fixed very, very bad color jobs done by others, to name a few. Rachelle is not only a fantastic stylist, but I think of her as a friend, too! Her salon is very warm and comfortable — it is like going to a friends house for a day of beauty! Thank you for always making me look and feel great!

I went to this salon during my vacation in CA wanting a trim and sun kissed highlights. She was the only one available on short notice and I quickly found out why that is. She didn’t want to hear what I wanted and talked over me to tell me what she thought I should do. I was very uncomfortable with her technique and her weird preachy personality. It didn’t appear she was very well liked by her coworkers either. I asked for water and she rudely ordered the receptionist to fetch some then nagged her about cleaning things right in front of me. That was very off putting. The receptionist is not her slave and she has no business ordering her around like that. Then the number she did on my hair… good lord. She ripped at my roots putting the foils in and put her armpits right in my face and it smelled like she hadn’t showered recently. You’d think a stylist of over 20 years would have it down by now but she was stressed and unsure of herself and was unpleasant to be near. The end result was tacky stripey outdated highlights that made me look like I was wearing a Hannah Montana wig. So much for sun kissed I looked like a punky teenager circa 2004. I was not pleased to say the least. I just wanted to get out of there at that point so I paid and she then admonished me for not tipping her. Hell no I didn’t. I posted a pic of my disasterous highlights on Facebook and the nicest comment was that it grows back. And yes I posted what salon this happened at so no one will make the same mistake I did. Fortunately I found a good stylist back in Portland who stayed late to fix my hair. Do not buy these 5 star reviews they must be BS she got her friends to write. Don’t make the same expensive mistake I did. Unless you enjoy paying Sola prices for Supercuts talent.

Rachelle has been doing my hair for over 15 years. Thanks to her I have great hair! My 2 daughters will only let her do their hair. We love her!!!

Rachelle was my hairdresser when I was a kid growing up and was the first stylist to color my hair! It wasn’t until I moved away to college in San Francisco that I realized just how amazing Rachelle is. I’ve never been able to find someone who is able to color my hair as well as she can, and I’ve spent a lot of money in the best salons all over California. After years of trying over priced salons and my hair always being damaged, I decided to start flying back to Orange County just for hair appointments and wow was it worth it.
Rachelle is able to look at a picture I bring in or just listen to me describe the next dramatic change I want to make and she does it beautifully every time! I couldn’t recommend her highly enough and no matter where I move I always will fly home to see her.
I’ve heard other stylists refer to her as «the color expert»
