OC Waxing & Aesthetics

Let me start by saying, I’m a licensed esthetician so I know what’s safe and what’s not safe. Your probably reading this and wondering why would I pay to be waxed when I can do it myself? Well two reasons. 1.) I’m too chicken to pull the strip myself. 2.) I don’t get the same results as I do when I go get waxed.
Megan Kenny is my go to girl! She’s SOOOO friendly and bubbly. She makes me feel very comfortable and makes the experience as painless as possible. Everyone who works here is super friendly and welcoming. The treatment room is clean and inviting. Would totally recommend OC waxing to anyone who’s looking to get waxed!

Once again, to be fair, this updated review is for Management only, as I mentioned on my previous review, the waxologists do an OK job for the most part.
I had been going to this place close to a year and as I explained in my previous review, in my 20+ appointments, I only had 2 – 3 max emergencies.
It is not in my nature to be late to my appointments, as I completely understand that arriving late is unfair for the next appointment that may be after me. Therefore, once again, all Carolyn (owner) can do is blame the customer in an unethical way by creating a calumny. What this business owner explains on her comments, never took place.
What did happen, as I already explained, is that there was a ‘miscommunication’ from management, and they were simply rude and unapologetic about it. Again, it is only when you have a miscommunication with management that it becomes clear that this company does not value loyal customers.
I, will also take this opportunity to clarify that long before I made my original Unilocal review, I gave this business an opportunity to address my concerns, and allowed them to come to a positive solution. I took the time to send Carolyn a very detailed professional email, which she never responded to, and even then, I still allowed Carolyn an opportunity to talk to me, so I then proceeded to leave her 2 voice mail messages. When I finally received a call from Carolyn (owner), she chose to be unethical and condescending in our phone call, and it was only then when I decided to leave a Unilocal review.
A great business owner should understand that in many cases a simple apology, is ALL that is needed to come to a resolution. Instead, Carolyn chose to be unethical and unprofessional in our phone call. — It was clear to me then, that this business owner treats her clients as business, not as people.

Natasha and Alida have been my go-​to esthetician’s for a couple of years now. I can confidently and happily say that they are more than knowledgeable in their expertise, as well as accommodate skill with the customer’s request. If you’re new to waxing, do not fear! They know how to make your first session a breeze. Whether it be an eyebrow, lip, or Brazilian wax, I assure you that you will leave happy knowing that you are in good hands (literally).

This review is a tad late, but I used to come here to see Kasey and she was excellent. She made the whole process quick and (relatively) painless.
Unfortunately she’s moved on to bigger & better things. I’ve since moved on to the Costa Mesa location and have had similarly glowing experiences. But I have friends/​family who visit this location to this day and all have nothing but great things to say about all the other waxologists.

I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes here for a while now and I have only had great experiences here! They are so clean, so thorough, and fast! I’ve tried other places but they never compare to OC waxing! I am always relaxed and comfortable through the whole process. All of the girls are amazing here and it may be a little bit pricier than other places but it is worth it!
