Essentials Studio Salon

I have been a client for over 20 years. The shop is attractively decorated, warm and inviting as soon as you step inside. This salon offers many of the treatments that are offered at the chain day spas but in a much cozier and friendlier atmosphere. It’s like getting together with friends and family. The owner, Christie, is professional yet friendly and extremely talented. She continues to train by going to shows and keeping up with all the latest in hair styles, products and other treatments. She does consults for weddings, proms and all special occasions. Once you meet Christie and the other gals you will know why she has continued to have steady customers for many years. She values her clientele and you will definitely value her. The manicurist is exceptional. Also you can relax in a private, peaceful setting for facials, waxing etc. It is easy to see why this business has flourished. I definitely recommend you schedule an appt. weeks ahead because this small business owner is booked way in advance but will always do her best to accommodate you.

The stylists here are awesome! I am extremely picky about my hair cut and color and I trust Christie and the other stylists implicitly. Christie is an expert on color, most people think my hair is naturally blond.
Another thing that impresses me is that they stylists here work together as a team. Christie does my color, but if for any reason she’s unavailable, I know that I can trust the other stylists because they work closely and help each other as needed. Its a great feeling knowing that they are all on the same page with my particular needs.
Lastly, the salon is small and I love this. I enjoy the atmosphere, it has a very friendly comfortable feeling to it and its not loud like some salons that have ten blow dryers going at once!
This is the only place I trust with my hair, I’ve been going there for years!

I have been a customer of Christie and Essentials Studio for over 20 years. I even drive the extra miles now that I have moved to Newport Beach. I seriously don’t trust anyone else with my hair. I found a good thing 20 years ago and I’m staying with it. All the stylists are professional, friendly and make the time there very enjoyable.
