OVERPRICED for average ice cream. They only accept one Groupon per visit and per family. It makes the store looks desperate and cheap.

First trip was ok. Overpriced, but we paid for the experience. So purchased Groupons for kids on Valentine’s Day! This establishment would not honor the kids groupon’s and were very rude about it! And ranted about it while creating the ice cream. They also were out of certain items! Management/Corporate also did not respond to emails regarding their Groupons. Horrible way to gain customers or KEEP Customers.

First I want to say that I am a fan of the concept & I don’t care how much it costs if I like something. I also want to say that I previously gave them 5 stars. I have tried a few flavors but the reason I go get in my car(because I have a craving) is because the pistachio is perfection. Unfortunately, whoever is running corporate(no fault of this franchisee) decided to completely change a staple flavor to this nasty paste. Golden rule in the restaurant business NEVERCHANGEWHATWORKS! The new pistachio looks grey and tastes totally different and certainly not better. If they don’t change it back then they lost a customer & I spend way more than I should here.

When you walk into an establishment with a menu you expect to be able to order from said menu and be able to get what you want. Well not here. Wanted to try the root beer float. Tried four separate times. Disappointed each time. Why do you keep it on the menu if you don’t order the supplies to make it? I won’t continue the torture and will seek my root beer solutions in a different establishment. Take it off the menu for the others that fall in your trap and save your employees the time of explaining why you don’t order root beer.

I am a fan of this place! I love the roasted black sesame with premium. Never lets me down. I have yet to try other things here. Fivestar rewards program is a plus. They really need to make a clear sign that tells people were to enter though. People wander into here lost and confused, especially when it comes to forming a line. Happy hour is cool also with the free waffle cone!

Not sure why anyone would pay $ 9 for what would be considered a «small» anywhere else. The ice cream is… not ice cream.

This review is solely for the service I received from Miram. She was so helpful and patient with me while I was ridiculously indecisive. The ice cream was fantastic as well, but things always taste sweeter when they come with great customer service! Big plus also for the creative flavors — the captain crunch was goooood.

So first off I walked into this place with not the highest of expectations, just thought it would be an interesting place to bring my family to after I checked it out. The ice cream was average, nothing super special about it except the price tag. $ 12 for a scoop of ice cream-there better have been gold flakes in there somewhere! Staff were rude and upon placing my ice cream on the counter for me to grab the entire top scoop of my ice cream fell on the floor. The staff member witnessed this and then turned around as if avoiding having to fix her scooping mistakes. Needless to say I will not be bringing my family or anyone here after my experiences and with the overall ice cream quality.

The staff seemed not so nice, they actually made fun of other customers for not knowing what they offered. Was ok over all

I have been here now about 6 times. The ice cream is awesome. why 3 stars then? Consistency. The portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Go to a location in Irvine, and the portions are consistently larger. Here in Mission Viejo, one kid gets a regular sized scoop and the other 2 get tiny ones, and mom and dads(that we share) is tinier still. Also, it is always a mess. Napkins on the floor. Sticky, un-wiped tables, drippings everywhere. Staff that are not friendly. In the end 5 star ice cream. 1 star location. 3 star total.

First time going here. I was going to the one in Irvine since it had better reviews but honestly if you read the reviews given for this place it’s basically high school kids that can’t afford it. Environment: Clean, bright and chic. Great place to sit and enjoy your ice cream and be social with your friends if you wanted. Food: I got the Captain Crunch ice cream. I was happy they serve this because the only time I had this ice cream was in Las Vegas in a store called Sprinkles. Never thought I would find this ice cream anywhere! I had sprinkles and gummies bears on top. And inside the ice cream they had actual captain crunch cereal inside! Quality: This ice cream is worth the money because it didn’t have that frozen that’s been inside a freezer to long because it was literally made right in front of you with liquid nitrogen! How awesome is that? Fresh ice cream is something you can’t complain! Service: The cashier was super friendly. Asked where I wanted my toppings. If I wanted it mixed in with the ice cream. Cost: 20.93 in total of my captain crunch single scoop with toppings, my boyfriend’s ice cream and his mom pineapple sorbet with toppings. 5⁄5 would come back and recommend.

Great Ice Cream concept! I got the Quantum Coffee and its a bunch i wasnt able to finish it. It was good but had too much of everything I guess. People with sweet tooth would really enjoy this place Employees were hospitable and the ambiance of the place is good either with friends, family, or alone time.

No, my review is not for bad food and definitely not bad service. The employees are awesome and know their stuff. They’re very friendly and extremely helpful. The ice cream is pretty good. A problem with it, however, is that after one or two bites you can no longer taste it due to your tongue freezing. Now, for the major issue, the price is ridiculous. Why would anyone continue to pay 5.50 for one scoop of ice cream? Yes, it was a cool experience, but there are such vbetter things in this world to put that money toward rather than an overpriced dessert.

$ 1 for 1 mix in? It doesn’t mean $ 1 for a serving with 1 mix in… Don’t fall for that. You pay $ 1 for 1 mix in added to your ice cream purchase… Smallest serving is $ 5.50. Their mix in is $ 1 regardless. It’s not a coupon, not a special, and when you come in is when you find out. And most places when new honor coupons even a couple days after the expired date just to get the business… Not them. Ok, so that is not so bad, just sucks. Ice cream is fine. Honestly, it’s not bad but just ice cream with mix ins. The only thing different that makes it interesting is that the freeze it on the spot. It’s a craze.

The most underwhelming ice cream experience of my life. Waited 20 minutes and paid twice as much for a single scoop as I would have for a pint of Haggen Dazs that tastes better anyway. On top of the lackluster ice cream, every wall in the store is covered in tile, making the shop extremely loud.

I love their concept and the flavors are awesome but the girls take their sweet time making the ice cream and I sit there and watch them take forever. When I get home my ice cream looks like a melted puddle. I should never have to rush to get to my home that is 5 minutes away from the store. Ridiculous. Dissapointing.

The ice cream here has the most unique texture I’ve ever experienced, it’s delicious to be sure. That being said they have some kinks to work out. The service is less than stellar. They seem to have issues getting orders out in a timely manner. I waited 20 mins for a scoop of ice cream. I also noticed if a customer ordered more than one item, they weren’t ready at the same time. I ordered a single scoop of Fresh Banana with the coconut base. When I order banana flavor ice cream I expect banana to be the dominate flavor and the coconut to be complimentary note… in this instance the coconut base was the very dominant flavor and I was slightly disappointed. All that being said, this place has a lot of potential. Check back in a few months

The only reason I gave Creamistry three stars is because they are still feeling their groove, so once they sort out their organization factor I’m sure I’ll give them 5 stars. We cruised in right after a nice dinner to check out this new location and found ourselves standing in a line out the door! Insanity. The place was a disaster with every employee killing themselves to get the customer orders done as quickly as possible. I felt for them. They were cheerful in spite of the craziness, smiling for pictures and joking with customers while explaining their unique method of creating delicious desserts. Don’t let me undersell their process: they use CO2 to put their treats together, so «smoke» permeates the place as they put everything together. It is pretty freaking cool!!! I ordered one of their specials, the coffee dessert and it was totally amazeballs good. My husband and bestie loved their desserts, too: hazelnut ice cream and fruit. The tables were dirty, hardly anyone hung out to eat — most grabbed and went, but everyone was smiling about getting a nice cool treat on a hot evening in good old OC. What more can you ask for? We’ll be back in a while after the initial rush wears off.

This store just opened. We where excited to try it. We where disappointed. first the menu board is confusing. Then the prices are high. $ 5.50 for a small single scoop then $ 1 for every mix in. My wife’s nitro shake started at $ 7.50 then $ 1 for a mix in. Total price for a small cup with one mix in a shake with one mix in $ 16.20 yikes!!! The ice cream and the shake where nothing special Will we go back? No I don’t mind paying extra for something special but this was not it
