This place has at least one person that works there that can’t do basic math. I wanted to make a purchase before I used the change to buy gas with it. The purchase came $ 5.48 with tax, I gave her a Twenty dollar bill and she informed me that I would be getting $ 13.98 worth of gas. I told her that that was incorrect and she started to argue with me telling me that it was correct. Whatever, I refuse to argue with incompetent people.

like many have said before this place is good because of it’s close to the freeway but the downside is it can be hard to get in and out. They stock their items well and it seems like they always have hot dogs ready.

This ARCO is very conveniently located in proximity to the freeway and the gas here is cheap. Very cheap. Unfortunately, the card readers out at pumps are broken, so you will have to go inside to pay with a debit card. I subtracted a star for this as I HATE having to walk inside a gas station unless I am actually planning to purchase munchies and beverages or using the restrooms. Oh, did I mention there was no restroom inside the station? The single Restroom is around the back(tacky) and once you discover this, you have to go back inside to get the key — ugh. The restroom was filthy, but there was a guy who worked there who was waiting to clean it who told me he’d hurry to get the critical parts clean first so that I could use it. I was quite grateful for this offer, believe me. Otherwise, this Ampm minimart had a good selection of munchies and drinks, the prices weren’t unreasonably inflated, and the cashier was friendly. If it hadn’t been for the unconscionably filthy restrooms and the broken card reader this place would easily have earned four stars. I just can’t excuse those two transgressions.

No restroom but easy to access off freeway. Make a donation to the local Southern CA hospitals who help young people with cancer by purchasing a gas card. Make a contribution to Northridge Hospital or Ronald Reagan UCLA in memory of Andrew Pounders, my son, diagnosed at age 19, succumbed at 24.

The one positive on this location is it’s proximity to the freeway. The real major drawback however is the fact that you can only enter from one side and leave from the other. There’s no turning around. Because of this, once you drive in you’re blocked in by people in front and blocked in by other people from behind. If you were planning on heading south anyway or getting on the freeway then that’s not a problem. If you were planning on going in any of the other directions you’re basically screwed. I really hate that.
