After waiting 3 days for them to «verify» my prescription I was told oh it’s to early. I asked early for what? I never got a prescription from you or anyone else before then I was told the truth there out of them and have been waiting on a shipment for 4 days. So instead of lying to me next time just let me go somewhere else.

Wow… I mean I gave no words… 12:18 on a Tuesday and maaaaaybe 10 customers in the store. Clerk Jackie gets caught up with a customer and the store basically stops. Another woman with glasses evidently forgot how to turn on an extra register… 4 customers in line of 2 «working» registers, 15 minutes to checkout.

This is literally the WORST rite aid ever! With the rudest staff! I’ve come here for years and it has just recently gone down! Today took the cake tho when the little Asian lady totally didn’t want to help me out. Came in for ice cream, stood at the ice cream for a good 7mins, walked over to her at the counter and asked politely if anyone was available to help me for ice cream, she mumbled something to herself and I asked her to repeat cuz I couldn’t hear, she said she’d be right with me… 3 minutes later she walks over toward me when she sees a customer walking toward the line to purchase a gallon of milk and she ditches me, looks at the customer and tells her she’ll help her instead. Ummmm rude!!! So I walked out and told her I didn’t want anything afterall. Refuse to contribute to this establishment again! This is the second time this lady has tried to avoid helping me. Now it’s personal!

I’m sure like most rite aids they are understaffed at times and they might have been… I’m not sure as I was calling them on the phone from another rite aid store(rinaldi/laurel cyn) to check if they had something in stock that this store didn’t. After my first attempt I hung up after being placed on hold for 15 minutes. I called back and the same person answered and very rudely said«what do you want???». I’ve done retail and customer service for a long time… This was soooo wrong. Half way though asking my question she says we don’t carry that and hangs up. Now I’m pissed! I’m using my unlimited minutes now to call that store every few minutes and hanging up. That’s what you get! Maybe it’s a little childish but hopefully she realizes her error.

Rite-Aid now has a new blood pressure, pulse and weight machine called Higi. It is located in the pharmacy. Fully automated with a touch screen and monitor. You can register with your email address and your results will be recorded, kept and sent to your email if you like. You can print and bring to your doctor for those monitoring their vitals. This is an awesome concept! After you take your blood pressure, while still sitting down, it will then take your weight if you choose that option. It even gives you your body mass index. They also have a hand sanitizer located next to it for those(like myself) who want to sanitize after touching something that thousands before have touched. Way to go Rite-aid! This is an awesome machine! Then you can go get your scoop of Thrifty ice cream after… lol!

The people that work at this pharmacy are bird brained straight stupid! My girlfriend had to wait 45 min for a prescription that they didn’t have. Another prescription which was suppose to be mixed into a liquid form… we got as powder. Since it’s near her house, she didn’t want to change pharmacy just yet but now these yo-yo’s messed up another prescription just a few days later. Ya F’in MORONS!(In my Charlie Murphy’s voice.) But in hindsight, the ice cream is still OG Thrifty ice cream. Hahaha!

The Filipino cashier is a frigging b*tch! I came in with a cosmetics return. Never opened, had the receipt. She would not accept my return without a manager’s approval. When the manager approaches the register, I proceed to explain the situation and the cashier puts up her hand and tells me, «stop talking»! She stresses to the manager that I am making a return from a purchase made the same day. The manager shoos her away. I manage to explain my situation and the manager was very courteous with helping out. Aside from the obviously shitty service, the ice cream selection is small. But then again I’ve noticed that other Rite Aids have decreased their stock in the freezer section. One thing about this Rite Aid that I do like is that they carry Jesse’s Girl cosmetics. More Rite Aid locations are starting to carry this brand, but for the longest time Mission Hills was the closest one within a 5 mile radius.

Omg I was told they were low on the antibiotic I needed for a tooth infection. So, I suggested a different store and I was assured that they could give me a one day supply and by noon the following day they would have them. Well next day at 1:00 pm some other story. I was sick and needed my medication. Then I was told it was there but the box was not open yet and said to come after six pm. Infuriating. Like I have nothing better to do that make trip after trip to their store?

Love the ice cream! I miss their old store. They remodeled and moved. Service is not good, but I’ve had good memories as a kid!

8:45 a.m. Dirty store, hair on the floor outside the Rx door along with crumbs on the chairs next to the pharmacy. I waited for the 2 staff to waltz over and open up after 9 a.m. No paper in the printer; no wonder my Rx wasn’t there :(I’m not feeling good, the person suggests that I don’t need a consult and I agree. I just want to go home. Gotta change!

I started using this Pharmacy after getting tired of long lines, and being put on hold at Target and CVS Pharmacies. These people answer the phone quickly, and I have never stood on line. The food specials are great, too, as are the unadvertised beer specials, and of course the Thrifty Ice Cream

It’s a shame that there are not that many rite-aids anymore. I like this rite-aid because they serve the thrifty brand ice cream that’s been around for 70 years. I remember as a child getting the cylindrical creamy goodness with my pop. I love the Mint chocolate chip classic. The sfv used to be darted with drug stores that was usually your one-stop, now even myself go to corporate giants such as target or wal-mart for stuff. A plus side about this rite-aid is that they still sell hard liquor. If you want don’t want to go to a liquor store or the Vons next door(cause it’s crowded most late nights) rite-aid is still my best bet. Warning: these guys close early. Recommendations: quick and easy, ice cream, hard liquor, protein shakes. Did I mention the mini GNC? They don’t have that at CVS or Wal-Mart. marc out.
