Smoothie Express

I was recommended to come here by my boyfriend. He has came here on his lunch break a few times. Which I would assume gets busier than a Monday night. He has never had a complain. I came expecting a great experience. I almost got that. I ordered a green mile and a tuna melt. The green mile was good but not impressionable (I’m sure if made properly it would have been great!) and the only critique I have on the melt is that they put less mayo. It kind of seemed drenched in mayo. Either way my only complain is I waited 20 minutes for my order when I was the only person here which I feel is a little ridiculous. Being a chef I understand preparing food to order takes time but not that much time. I feel that they should have been better prepared. Yesenia is super knowledgable and sweet she even checked up on me to see if I liked my food but the other girl seems new and not very nice at all. I don’t mind new!! Everyone is new at something at some point but if your friendly and wear a smile on your face it makes everything a little better, especially my 20 minute wait. At one point I tried asking the rude girl if that was my smoothie she was making. She was right in front of me and I said excuse me three times it was clear she was purposely ignoring me, I just wanted to make sure she hadn’t added banana to my green mile as it always makes my stomach sore. Once she was done making it she just handed it to me with attitude. I hope management reads Unilocal comments. I’m a Unilocaler. I’m not sure if I’ll return. Still thinking about it. But I hope they succeed.

Went today for brunch. I order the peanut butter lover smoothie and added vanilla whey, one word amazing!!! I also order the mahi mahi panini, it comes with a mango sauce and a side salad, delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to new guest. The only reason why this place will not get 5 starts is because after leaving Smoothie Express I my hair and clothes smelled like grilled chicken. I do not recommend the place to eat there, I think take out will be the best bet. Sorry, but no one wants to leave a place smelling like food:/ overall tasty healthy options;)

the employee working tonight was very nice and patient. it was a few minutes till closing and it was me and my boyfriend and a weird older lady. the old lady seemed like she was difficult customer but the girl working was patient and understanding. she took my order and few minutes later I received THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE EVER! anyway, great experience overall!

Smoothie Express surely does not operate faster than normal speed. In fact this is a drawback for them, each and every time the service is slow. They don’t have enough personnel, most of the time they have one person working the phone, the smoothie station and food preparation station. I feel terrible for the young man working there, it’s totally not cool. This observation in itself speaks volumes of the managers/​owners.
Having respect and consideration toward your employee is something you should seriously contemplate. Your customers take notice and it’s not good business. I have ordered the salmon salad and their PRICES are comparable to Brio Tuscan Grille but the portions are much smaller at Smoothie Express. Their Bowl of Soup is ridiculously small, maybe the size of a cup. It feels like they warm everything up in a microwave. Not sure I would define it as fresh food. I am always willing to support small business but not under this pretense. We have enough businesses (both big and small) taking advantage of their employee (s) just to get ahead.

Love it, very close to my home perfect food /​drink after a workout. I’ve tried several smoothies as well as salads and so far they have all tasted pretty good. So many options, very good place to catch a bite. NEED MORE CARROT JUICE #lol

Their smoothies are amazing and have a variety to choose from! They have a waiting room and small tables to eat in.

Walked into this place for the first time a couple days ago with my husband and son. We were hungry and looking for healthier alternatives. It came up on Unilocal so we thought we would try it. It’s amazing! The passion fruit tea is a must. We each ate what the guy behind the counter (I believe is the owner) recommended. I had the chicken panini with some delicious mango sauce. My son had the turkey burger and husband had the turkey panini. We all loved our meals and shared a bit too. We will be coming back here soon. They were very nice also.

I was here the other day. I was not impressed with the layout. I was not sure where I had to order from. The menu board is towards the back of the store (bad lighting) with the cashier at the front. There should be better organization at this establishment. Possibly a sign saying «Order Here» This smoothie itself was mediocre to my standards. It seemed that the individuals preparing the smoothies were not well trained. There was a lot of confusion.

It has a great atmosphere! Very clean and friendly. I ordered the tuna salad, and my girlfriend order the mahi wrap. Reasonable pricing and very delicious for healthy eaters!

Great healthy option in Miramar. The smoothies are good and the wraps and veggie burgers taste good. The portions are a bit small but filling with a smoothie. The staff is pleasant and friendly.

Meh the prices are ok but the smoothies are rookie level. I had to constantly spit out these inedible seeds and could not really enjoy my smoothie. The young girls behind the counters are too busy trying to flirt with cops instead of making my smoothie, very unprofessional. If only she knew that police officers beat their wives double the national average she wouldn’t be acting so easy. Very unprofessional I won’t return.

Salads and Smoothies are always fresh. The owner is very polite and professional. I highly recommend to anyone if your in the area. I’m fond of the turkey burgers and strawberry banana protein shakes!

Smoothies are yummy, The smooth operator is my favorite as well as the floribean chicken salad okay portion (stingy with the chicken for an $ 8 salad) homemade dressings are AMAZING. I give 3 stars because they’re still pretty disorganized, the wait time is forever at times. Definitely need a better way to handle orders, really good fresh food, just wish the service was better. The woman owner is very sweet, always on point when she’s there.

If your in the area and want a good fresh smoothie, check out this local place that recently opened up. I tend to get the green mile smoothie which has a blend of kale and almond milk.
In addition they have an assortment of salads, panini’s and soups. The owner tries to make alot of stuff fresh and is very personable. The store is very open and has bench seating and tvs.
