This food was delicious! I had the Moussaka and it was great. The vegetables were very good as well. My wife had a Gyro and fries and had my Greek salad. I had her fries, lightly battered. I was more than satisfied.

Hummus! Falafel! And… fries? Yum. Yep, you read that right, fries. Good ones too. They’re just a really good fish beer battered frozen brand, but they sure are tasty. Heck, I’d return just for a plate of those, but then, I always search high and low for a place that serves hummus and falafel, and was certainly happy to find it here. The service was good, the atmosphere pleasant, and they even have drink specials. Cheers!

If you’re just trying to catch a Greek food fix this doesn’t even come close fire a desperate person. The tzatiki sauce, which is really easy to perfect, tasted as though it was made out of the blandest dull and garlic on the face of the earth. The gyros were as well flavorless, where does these ingridents come from? Blandland?!? This place got two stars bc it’s next to the car wash where my car was being detailed, the only good thing.

First time trying this location(usually go to Shalimar). Food is very good. Dolmades are a regular go to. Usually they have a lamb special but I always fall back to the Gyro. Try them out.

What a great find! So much food and everything was delicious! The tour of Greece was big enough for two, and the lamb was so tender, delicious and amazing! We will be back!!!

We stumbled upon this place on a whole we stayed in a hotel nearby. It was so good we actually ate here twice during our stay. The portions were huge and it was refreshing to have another place to eat besides those touristy places.

My sister in law and I ordered a traditional gyro and we were extremely disappointed. $ 19 and we couldn’t even get threw 4 bites. The gyro was so watery, the pita was falling apart, the gyro meat hardly had any taste and very bland. The sides we got thankfully were pretty decent. But the gyros were just awful. I’ve never not finished a gyro and after 3 bites of these ones we both couldn’t take any more… I hate to be so harsh. Maybe their other food isn’t bad. Neither of us will be returning after this, that’s for sure. A previous review said something about quality of the meat and it being watery. I was hesitant to order after reading it, and I WISH I would have listened. They were 100% right.

The food was well prepared. It arrived with good timing to the table. The spanikopita could have had a bit more feta. The keftedes, according to the waitress, had mint in it that would be a flavor we might recognize. Well, I didn’t taste it, but it was delicious and moist not overcooked. This was our second time eating here and we plan to return.

Stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Nice open dining areas with a separate bar. We had the Salmon Benedict and Lamb Omelette. Loved both dishes. And the coffee was good too! The service was great and the restrooms were clean. Will definitely return!

This place was great. My husband and I needed to get take out last night. They had our food ready in 15 min. We ordered hummus appetizer dip, dolmathes and the Tour of Greece. We had more than enough food. The only thing negative I have to say is I wish we had more tzatziki! Food was fresh and portions were huge. I wish the rest of our family enjoyed Greek food because we would definitely get it again. Next trip to Destin, we will be sure to stop in.

Really good Greek food, I had some Royal Platter which was huge. I can eat a lot but I only got about 2/3’s of the way through it. The moussaka was real good, very creamy. The gyro meat was a little rubbery. The waitress kept calling me sweetheart which made me tingle a little.

I came on while it was raining. The hostesses are friendly and helpful. They even helped me carry the bags to my car. I ordered 7 meals to go and it was still steaming hot when i got back to the condo 10 minutes later. Best food we have had since coming down here.

Great food and service! Portions are huge — plenty to share. The Moussaka was the most interesting and delightful. Thinly sliced potato bottom crust. In all very fresh and delightful. At 6 pm we were about the only party in the place but by 7:00 they were filling up!

This place is so delicious. I stopped on my way to Destin because I’m a huge Greek food lover. It exceeded my expectations. I ordered Santorini dip to start which was delicious. The pita comes out grilled and warm and is oh so yummy! I also ordered a Gyro wrap and the fries are to die for. Gyro was full of veggies and really fresh. Wish we had a place like this in Birmingham!

Been here couple times for breakfast. The chicken omelette is great on this visit I had Gryo and Eggs. It was ok, the meat did it have much flavor and was not hot. I asked for sauce that goes with Gyro but when I got my receipt I was charge dollar for it. I am ok with paying for it, if only I was informed of the charge for it. I do not like surprise on my bill.

From the décor to the music to the menu– it’s GREEK. I love this place! Everything I’ve had here has been delicious! I love that the service is quick like fast-food quick but the food comes out with care. There is an extensive bar as well to treat your thirsty tooth. Breakfast is an unexpected delight. I had a feta sundried tomato omelette with coffee and loved it. For lunch, I ordered the mussels with red sauce, Greek salad and grilled zucchini. All were tasty(but keep in mind I’m a pescatarian). My husband meat eating husband had the Gyro platter and it came with all the mainstream Greek dishes– Greek salad, gyro meat, fries, and pita with tatziki sauce. He claims it was a great traditional choice. A visit to this restaurant is sure to fuel your desire to visit Greece!

Greek food is something very hard to understand because most«Greek» restaurants are not exactly authentic Greek. I have enjoyed one very authentic Greek place in Albany, NY and one of my best friend is very Greek so I have learn a lot about real Greek food. I must tell you that The Aegean is authentic Greek and much more! Food is great, service is awesome with attention to every detail to make dining experience a real one. I asked the waiter to suggest something really good for me(Vegetarian) and he suggested two things to be combined. I ordered only one because I didnt want to spend more money. He gave me the second dish complimentary just because he wanted me to enjoy what he thought was the best experience and I must say he was right! They have plenty of seating indoor and out and sitting out during sunset is an experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good Greek food and also not afraid of some calories. Definitely awesome place for a date.
