Installed by total idiot. M & M Satellite. Lied to us. Contacted Hughes «customer service «what a joke. Have been with hughes for years. My mistake. Best plan was painfully slow. No where near what they told me. All done. Wild Blue here I come. You would be wise to do the same. I wish I could have given no stars. POS..

There service is so fraudulent … They put me in collections after cancelling the service … Horrible experience indeed

Hughesnet. DON’T sign up. Run as fast as your fingers will take you! Best plan, 50 gb and get this, 50 free! Ok, what the 50 free can only be used between 2 A.M. and 8 A.M. Humm, i’m not up from 2 to 8 a. m Going to cost mt $ 760.00 to get them of my roof and i can’t wait!

HughesNet is the Worse. Internet. Provider. Ever. Over ½ the time I have either slow or no connection because of some storm in Texas (I live in California, so go figure). Pricing is mis-​stated and horrible. They charge more than they say they will. Contracts are impossible to get out of. If you’re considering Hughes Net, RUN (don’t walk) to ANY OTHER INTERNET PROVIDER!

Don’t do it, it’s a trap!!! Internet sucks and it’s impossible to cancel. Outsourced work makes it hard to find someone that speaks English. Cost 300 dollars just to cancel this horrible service.

terrible connection and worse service, impossible to cancel service…
they want me to pay an early termination fee of over $ 300 for a service which was crappy from the day it was installed!!!
the installer told me, «awww, it takes about a month before the actual speeds start kicking in». load of bs!!!
not close to what was promised, when i called to cancel, they wanted a document faxed to them. i faxed a letter stating that they have my permission to close the account due to lack of performance.
i’m out the installation fees, i’m out installation fees for the new service provider and now they are telling me that the document is not valid because i do not have a company letter-​head on my letter.
i explained to them that we do not have letter head, i have an automotive business, we do not have letter-​head documents or fax machines (which i had to go out and use the last time).
i was told i need to fax only and needed letter head on my document to close this crappy account.
i have never had to deal with such idiots to close an account, if this is how they try and keep their customers please be for-​warned. you are in for a ride…
