Freakin great ice cream!!! Stopping afer a rafting trip on our way back to Beaver Creek and found a great place. Real home made ice cream made right there in the shop!!! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had.

This smart little ice cream store in little Minturn has the best ice cream I’ve ever had, at least the one flavor I tried today, Grasshopper (with some added hot fudge). Grasshopper is a chocolately flavor with mint cookies and some swirly things. Heck, I don’t know what’s in it but is is smooth, buttery, flavorful and not too sweet. There were lots of other flavors, butterfinger, apple pie and cinnamon toast crunch and something made with Bailey’s but they change each week. No plain chocolate, vanilla or strawberry but there’s plenty of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry in the creatively invented and expertly made small batches. It’s an adventure coming there because one never knows what’s going to be in the cooler. Zibby makes the ice cream early in the week and by Saturday afternoon, it’s all gone. So get there early.
