Chef Rene’s At Timber Ridge

Awesome! One of the best places in the area!!! Staff is friendly food is amazing try the duck confit, the lamb chops or lumber jack steak you will not regret your visit to this fabulous place!

My table ordered the beef stroganoff, chicken breast sandwich and a grilled chicken salad. Everything was amazing, the salad was not on the menu however our server was willing to accommodate! Excellent service, food and drinks!

It is so good to see fine dining at Timber Ridge! Chef Rene’s is a rare find in the north woods. Outstanding service, wine list and food to please anyone. The wild mushroom soup was awesome and the lamb chops to die for. Saw deer going in and coming out. Hummingbirds fed outside our window.
Can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed a great meal! This is one of our new favorite places to come for dinner in the north woods. We all ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed them. Our favorites of the night were the lake perch and the pepper steak! We even had dessert and the cream puff was phenomenal.

Chef Renee’s is located in a country club in Minoqua. It recently opened in May and is surrounded by the beautiful golf course and North Woods. We came here for dinner and sat on the patio which was nice because we were seated by the windows. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar could be updated and made a little bit more inviting with more color and better décor for an upscale restaurant located in the woods.
The food was amazing. We ordered the wild mushrooms with a pastry for an appetizer and I think they were the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. The textures of the mushrooms were so perfect and the sauce that accompanied it was delicious and was even good to dip our bread in. I ordered the Scallops Chipon as my entrée which was scallops flavored with Cajun spices and a bunch of different herbs over a bed of linguini pasta. All of the different flavors in the dish mixed so well together it was perfect. The scallops were huge and cooked just right.
The service was really good. The host, servers, and bartenders were all very friendly. I even found out that Chef Renee works the kitchen every day and you can really tell because all of our dishes came out spot on. They had so many specials as well so you can tell the chef is constantly creating new dishes. I really enjoyed this place and will come back again when I’m in this area.
