The people here are super friendly. They also carry your bags to your car for free. My neighborhood grocery store!

I like Lunds, but do not frequent. The location is perfect for me, I could walk here if I needed to; however I prefer not to come here because it is more expensive than other grocery stores. You pay more for the customer service — they are so friendly and will even take your purchases to your car for you. With the higher prices you also get a ‘fancier’ environment and product choices, so if you are looking for Chia Seeds or Organic whatever, this is the place for you. My favorite part of Lunds is the salad bar /deli /bakery area. They have everything you could possible need for any event, or just a quick meal. I will sometimes come in just to get some olives, or make myself a salad with all the fixings I would normally not purchase separately. My best deal, quick tip — Friday $ 5 Rotisserie Chickens. My best delicious treat, quick tip — get the brownie bites.

Hmm. What are your other options out here? The service here is great, but it feels a little bit like the location that time forgot. I can’t even believe this is the same chain as the locations I frequent. I’m not just saying that bc I’m a city kid, I swear.

Bought 2 cupcakes and salmon for part of my husband’s birthday dinner. Salmon was just okay — I have had better and I’ve had worse. The cupcakes were pretty bad. I got 2 of my favorite flavors — salted caramel and pumpkin spice. They were both really dry, as if they had been sitting out for days. They looked much better than they tasted. Next time I will go somewhere else for my bakery items and probably buy my meat elsewhere too.

Lunds is all about customer service and quality! Produce is always fresh, the butchers are extremely helpful, and a awesome bakery. If you need a unique item… you will find it at Lunds. It’s more expensive then Cub, but so worth it! Watch for the BOGO sales it helps on the grocery bill! Btw I love they bag your groceries and gladly carry them out to your car!

With the current economic malaise, Lunds Markets have modified their previous marketing persona to project a more economic price point, without undercutting their tradition of quality products and ingredients. Nice selection of the usual and unusual, always with an eye on quality. Yesterday we purchased the Wild-caught Sockeye Salmon(previously frozen) and it had been very well taken care of as we could not tell the difference, in terms of flavor and texture, from fresh. They now display an eye for budgets, in addition to an eye for quality!

I’ve only been here a few times in the past 12 to 15 years but since I worked here from 1970 until 1983 I’m pretty sure I’m qualified to comment. The place has changed over the years for sure, but still maintains the«customer first’ attitude of it’s founder. The meat, produce, and dairy/cheese departments are still great but sadly the deli and bakery are shells of their former selves. Still one of the best lite, organized, easy to shop stores around.

After an amazing Thanksgiving dinner with my family, I ran to Lunds to buy a few fixings for a remake of the trademark dinner(in order to nosh on a few favorite leftovers that didn’t make the trip back from Chicago…). I found all of my favorite items quickly and the butcher was very helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. Unfortunately the deli/bakery staff was really rude(which reminded me of a very uncomfortable visit a few months ago that involved a loaf of Jewish Rye bread)…but all was forgotten at the checkout line with a courteous cashier and helpful bagger.
