Wagner’s

Really fun place to shop for houseplants. They had a nice collection in the fall and I’m sure in the summer they have even more plants to pick from. They have some great organic products and earth friendly pots. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will be returning for more cute plants for my home.

I sometimes will do landscaping projects for people because it’s an enjoyable activity, and you get payed to get a good workout. When I do this my favorite place to get shrubs and plants is Wagner’s, they’ve got the best performing shrubs and perennials I’ve seen.
For example I’ve gotten roses elsewhere and they have yet to bloom after a full year, some even after 2 years. The ones I got from Wagners have been consistently blooming since the time they were planted. Other shrubs such as the Euphorbia I got there has both amazing foliage all season and amazing flowers in the Spring, it too has been a very healthy plant.
This place has excellent quality stuff in a pleasant shopping atmosphere, and when you need help there are knowledgeable people around to give it to you. I gave up seeking help at big box places after a Garden Center employee there didn’t even know what Lavender was when I asked if they carried it, really are you serious? If you want great plants and shrubs, and helpful people to help you find the right one for you, come here I’m sure you will not be dissapointed.

They have a great staff and most of they grow their own plants. They actually hire people with college degree’s on growing plants, they dont just truck them in, and have high school kids selling them. Well, they do have some younger employee’s, but they do have experts on staff for questions they cant answer. It’s a family owned business and they’re from Minnesota.

As I said in my earlier review we would back next year and well we came back! I have to say I am impressed with staff, they are very knowledgeable and not snotty about it. I decided this year to add in the perennials. They helped me pick a great variety for the avenue/​boulevard (potato potahto). I also picked up a great variety of annuals and plan to go back later in the season for the remaining flowers. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Nice people and a wide selection of gardening plants and accessories. Perhaps not the cheapest, but their plants are great quality and the selection of annual and perennial plants is pretty broad.
