I grabbed a jar of the raw, unprocessed honey from the Seward Co-op. Great stuff. Get some. Support local beekeepers. You won’t regret it. That is all.

I’ve had Beez Kneez in my coffee drinks at some local cafes and ordered it for gifts in the past, but I just wanted to add some thoughts after I bought some Beez Kneez honey for myself last month! 1. SO inexpensive for the quality and the size of the jars. 2. SO local. Essentially the most local anything can ever be. 3. SO convenient. You don’t even have to leave your couch to make this happen. Cards via PayPal are accepted now. 4. SO tasty. I want to eat it with a spoon. Email Kristy and see for yourself. This is what makes Minneapolis wonderful. The end.

Mmm I love me some farm-to-table, bicycle-delivered honey! The Beez Kneez has that name for a reason… ITIS. I’ve tried almost every flavor now, but the Clover/Basswood is one of my must-haves. I bought a 1.12lb jar for $ 8 and I’ve been putting it in my tea almost every day, so your money really goes a long way. Plus, it’s Minnesota-grown, raw, unprocessed and delivered by bike – even in the midst of winter. How can you feel bad about endorsing a product like that? This might be a newer thing for Beez Kneez since I read in a few other reviews that it’s cash or check only, but I ordered my honey online via PayPal and then we coordinated the delivery plans afterwards. Maybe she only takes cash or check in person? Anyways, I suggest you get yourselves some of this fabulous honey!

There isn’t a more unique and MN homegrown honey than Beez Kneez Honey. I’ve had Beez Kneez Honey at two Unilocal events now, most recently the Unilocal Drive-In! Like other reviews mention, it’s the perfect gift, especially when you want to say you’ve put some thought into the present. I ordered a jar of the Buckwheat, recommended for coffee, on Saturday and Kristy delivered on Monday right to my front door and off it went into the mail. Such an easy no hassle process.

Have you ever imagined receiving an order of honey, delivered on a bee themed bicycle? Well today is your lucky day, because Kristy is your gal, as she delivers Beez Kneez honey on her bike, «Bea Arthur». As Annie D. mentioned, she delivers on Sundays and Mondays only. After the Unilocal event at the Smart & Chic Beauty lounge, I was in love with Kristy’s delicious honey and went home and placed three orders as soon as I could(one for myself & two for gifts). I emailed her, we decided on a time, and she came to drop them off, on her lovely BEECYCLE. She even sent me a text that she would be around 5 minutes late. The honey varies by the season, so buy in bulk if you like one variety, as honey never goes bad! Crazy, but Kristy even affirmed this herself. If you are located out of the cities for delivery, you can find Kristy at the Kingfield’s farmers market on Sundays from 8:30 to 1:00pm. Beez Knees honey makes a great local gift, as it is quite unique & delicious! NOTE: She only accepts cash or check, so no credit cards!

I am not a huge fan of honey, especially not a fan of the over processed stuff you buy in most supermarkets. So when my BF started pestering me about buying some honey, I thought I should get some good honey, before he decided to go out and buy some of that. I immediately remembered the Beez Kneez from the Unilocal event and decided to check out my options there. I went on-line, discovered that honey was reasonably priced and home delivered and immediately placed an order for a jar, dropped a check at my front door and waited for my honey patiently. Couple of days later I got my honey and it is very very tasty! So far I have been spreading it on tea cake, but I am pretty sure I will start using it in other ways…

First, let me say I feel so cool that I’m first to review! Second, let me say this honey is awesome! I sampled both types of honey at Unilocal’s Kiss & Makeup party. Delicious, and unlike any honey I’ve tasted before. I’m not a big honey person in general, but I think I’ll be turning into one! I had a bad cold last week and when my doctor recommended tea with honey I immediately remembered the honey I tried at the party. I placed my order online and Kristy emailed me about pickup. I left a check at my front door, and ta da! I arrived home today to find a nice big jar of honey! It’s only $ 6 for a nice big jar of local, raw, unprocessed honey. Go get yourself some. I’m now searching for more ways to use and eat honey! Plus I remember reading something once about how eating local honey is good for your allergies or something?
