is the worst experience ever. I live in a city that doesn’t deliver mail. will not let me use a PO Box or guarantee delivery via UPS. They ship UPS then UPS transfers to a the post office which doesn’t deliver mail so all my orders keep going back. Now there is an exception, some of the orders do get delivered UPS but there is no way to know what will be delivered and what won’t. So how can i order from if they tell me they will deliver but actually can’t??? delivers to my house or POBOX. I know who I will be using from this point forward!

This store is always a highlight of my trips to Minneapolis. It’s a MEGA target and you can literally get lost here. It’s magical. They have really good inventory here, they always have the newest items for apparel, and they literally have anything and everything you could ever possibly want or need here. Super convenient location. I’m a fan! :)

Pretty typical Target. It is two stories and has a pretty good selection of everything you could possibly want.

This target is right by work which makes it convenient, and they have a parking lot on LaSalle and 10th that’s validated. I like being able to pick something up for the house on my way to or from work. Their work wear is also on point because it’s downtown so much of what they get in for Minneapolis ends there first. Only downside is that taxes are higher so that’s annoying. The pharmacy sucks occasionally because they don’t stock their allergy meds enough. But that’s more an inventory issue than customer service. As a store it’s nice to have it so close.

According to wikipedia, Over 1700 stores, 300,000 staff, 49 states, 72 billion in revenue, based here in Minneapolis, MN. They go to back to 1902 some 100 plus years ago. That is a long time to be in business. Congrats Target!!! My local Target is a pleasing experience.

Don’t even bother trying to complain to Target Corporate. You can email them a hundred times with an escalated problem. You never get a call. When you do talk to them they aren’t particularly nice or helpful. I’m completely done with Target. No more Target shopping for me ever again in my life. Now they have a complaints call center in Mexico… not a good idea Target… calling them was a mess. Also, Thanks so much for outsourcing more American jobs. Everyone talks smack about Wal Mart and acts like Target is the better alternative. When I have had issues and emailed Wal Mart Corporate… the next day the store manager will call me at home with a very nice attitude and not only apologize, but fix the problem. You lose Target. Wal Mart is actually better than you. I never thought I would say that, but trying to make a complaint to Target Corporation is so time consuming and disappointing… it’s easier just not to bother shopping at your stores.

Target, you stupid soulless corporate bastards. I bought Christmas presents online. The big tickets item, a Keurig, was supposed to come with an e-gift card. Days went by. I reached out to social media, and they quickly pushed my order though, even sending an additional e-gift card for my trouble. ITWASN’T A FREEBIEFORMYTROUBLE. THEYCHARGEDME20DOLLARSTHAT I DIDN’T ASKEDTOBECHARGEDFOR. The presents arrived. The stuff I bought on clearance were fine. The Keurig however, was a cheaper model than what I paid for. It retails for about 20 dollars less and I was not fooled. The box arrived damaged as well. Target does not do exchanges for online orders, only refunds. In order to repurchase my item, I would not have gotten the sale price, nor would it have arrived by Christmas. I called about an exchange only to have an operator tell me to call back during business hours. I was literally speaking to a human being, but I had to call back during business hours? Two tries later I reached someone who was willing to do an exchange and send me the item I paid for, only to have the operator tell me it was all sold out. ALLSOLDOUT. I can’t wrap all sold out. Here Honey, I got you the all sold out you wanted. How about you don’t oversell? I am still waiting on confirmation for my refund for the Keurig, and now a refund of twenty dollars on top of that. Target stole Christmas, stole 119 dollars, stole my time. EDIT: The result of my return thus far? The«FREERETURNSHIPPING» has somehow also cost me about 10 bucks. I hate Target, I will never shop there again, and it is my sincere hope that all the corporate heads are fired.

Dear Target, Five years ago my fiancé and I registered with Macy’s, Amazon and you for our upcoming wedding. Despite our neighbors sad, grizzly motorcycle death in front of our house the day before; the killer bee attack, my Grandma’s face-plant and subsequent ambulance trip to the emergency room and Aloha Airlines(and our honeymoon flight) going out of business all on our wedding day too, we somehow still managed to make it through the wedding ceremony through the love and support of our friends and family. We got hitched, received lots of swell loot off our registries and have been enjoying happily ever after. That is until I received this catalogue exactly 5 years to the day of our wedding.(See photo). Nothing’s more of a «Happy Anniversary» buzzkill than a Baby Registry Catalogue. With my name on it. And a $ 20 Target Giftcard if I set up my Baby Registry TODAY. Now I can take the constant ‘why don’t you have kids yet’ banter from my Mom, Grandma, inlaws, coworkers, girls in my yoga class, UPS delivery man, Subway sandwich chef and the nose-picker that runs the bodegas by my house. But give me a freakin’ break Target. When I come home from a long day at work and peek in my mailbox I don’t need YOU giving me the baby pressure too. Please remove us from your mailing list. We’re only hanging out with Macy’s and Amazon exclusively these days, because they respect us for who we are — two people that are still happily on their honeymoon 5 years later. Thank you.

I’m new to Unilocal, but I thought it was for reviewing individual business locations and not to critique corporate policy. Anyway…as a resident of downtown for 2.5 yrs, this store was a great asset. I have a car, but those w/o can access it from bus, light rail, bike, skyway, or good olé sidewalk. Cool 2-story layout w/coffee shop, Rx, health clinic, etc. Sure, the homeless ppl use the bathrooms as a locker room, but that’s downtown for you. Not a SuperTarget, but decent grocery area. My favorite thing abt this store is the free and reduced ramp parking. Free for 2 hrs on weekdays if you spend $ 20+. Free 3 hrs on wknds. Many times I’ve run errands downtown and parked there and bought a $ 20 gift card. Sure beats any other ramp in the area. Oh, and heated garage.

Target leaves a lot to be desired in Customer Service. The store staff is ineffective, this store is always messy and it’s impossible to ever find anyone to help you. Last straw for Target came today when I tried to escalate a store issue to Corporate Customer Service. Was on hold for 45 minutes when a supervisor finally got on; she was extremely unhelpful and smug. If anyone from Target is even interested in knowing her name, you can email me through Unilocal. But somehow I get the distinct impression that no one at Target really cares about the customer. With Target’s higher price points, terrible customer service, clear disorganization and lack of management, it’s no wonder that the Walmarts and Bed Baths of the world are kicking their can. Target has lost my business forever. Woe to those of my friends who ever register there. Or maybe not, cuz I will just give cash.

Suggestion regarding gift cards purchased online which we want to use in store: As a customer, i shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to use a gift card my sister purchased for me online. I don’t have a smart phone to download an app to get a barcode for the cashier to be able to scan. You should just automatically include a barcode in the gift card email so i can print it out and bring it in. Pretty simple stuff, folks!

This is supposed to be the address for Target World HQ in Minneapolis, so here goes. Sunday, 1PM: Target in Colma, CA– I pick up a gift card for a friend’s baby shower gift… throw it in my bag, figure I’ll send it later that day. Sunday, 4PM: Everyone else is napping, I figure I’ll write the card now… digging through my diaper bag with its many many pockets, nooks, and crannies… where is the gift card? It cannot be found! big d’oh! For a few moments there, I’m thinking I’m SOL and out the $$ I spent on a gift card(stupid me!) —- but I give a call to the target anyway, to see what I can do… They tell me that as long as I have the original receipt, I can call another 1800 number… After making a 5 minute phone call, I’m assured that(after I fax a copy of the original receipt,) they will mail me a replacement! HURRAY! That was last Sunday. My replacement arrived less than 8 days after I faxed over the copy. Lesson learned: When buying a gift card, guard it with your life! :) Or at the very least, put it in a very safe place!(I have no idea where it went!!) Of course, I love Target in all its forms and the fact that there is one in Colma, and another in Daly City– literally a THREEMINUTE drive from each other, is just one of those funny and fabulous things in life. It sure makes bay area visitors shake their heads, though.

Downtown Minneapolis. Accessible via the Skyway Clean store and nice encounters with the staff. Starbucks on Skyway level.

Nice to see downtown department stores, even nice to see a downtown Target. Didn’t check out much of the stuff cos it’s, like, just a Target, but I needed some mineral water which was easy to find, though I wonder why Targets bother with food areas at all because there’s nothing there except frozen food and unless you live on Lean Cuisines this is just a waste of time. Even WalMarts do a better job in their food sections, selling stuff like kimchi in my local ones
