Subway

Cozy spot, great smell, open late enough. Have not run to anyone even remotely room like the others have. Will stop by in future any day! I like that the guy behind the counter participated in my banter while I was w/​my mom, though he didn’t have to. They seem good-​hearted, easy-​going people here.

Holy wow. I went there today for lunch. The girl behind the counter (Patricia) rolled her eyes at me when I said I needed a minute to order– My bad for not memorizing the menu, Patricia… and then walked behind the wall to the kitchen and didn’t come back. A guy came out a few minutes later and started our order. He was nice but the service was so slow, and there wasn’t any kind of order to their movements nor a sense of urgency. I repeated toppings multiple times, had to wait for Patricia to finally come back out and slowly put on gloves… just yikes… it was so bad. I will never go back unless I’ve got a few hours to kill and the patience of a saint that day. :-/

I was very turned off by subway a couple years ago because of the Delano MN location. It was never fresh and I even got moldy bread one time! Yuck!
I’ve had the St. Louis Park location a couple times, and it was ehh okay…
I know sometimes these are independently owned franchises from location to location, but it goes to show how one dirty apple can really ruin a bunch.
THIS location is CLEAN; ingredients always look fresh, and taste fresh. Just like they all claim! The assembly bar always looks very clean and the associates know how to avoid cross contamination. The pop station is ALWAYS spotless, I never see any trash anywhere in the seating area and bathrooms are spotless.
Everyone I’ve encountered has been friendly and makes easy quick conversation. This spot has restored my trust in Subway.
