Not very helpful. Rather defensive and arrogant about their work, especially when they introduced the problems. After a considerable amount of time they finally agreed to replace defective equipment, and haven’t had a problem since. So, yes, they stood behind their product but only after a lot of belly-​aching.

Keith, the owner was incredibly helpful. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. So happy with the laptop I found.

Strike Twice saved us. We were looking for older technology card for a desktop computer. No one around had the part. Strike Twice did. They didn’t charge us an arm and a leg for it either knowing the part wouldn’t be found elsewhere. Keith was great. Would return there in a second for any computer needs.

The computer expert did a diagnostic look at our laptop. He did not talk down to me, nor did he try to sell me anything I didn’t need. He honestly told me what was wrong, that the computer was worth saving if we wanted. If we didn’t want to keep it, they offer a trade-​in allowance or would have purchased it if we wanted. They are up-​front with their repair quotes and are «no-​pressure.» Highly recommend this great local business with nice, talented staff. Sure beats the «big box» store that charged almost $ 100 to do nothing.

I inadvertently downloaded several browser add-​ins (I *never* do this but was in a hurry and was blindly clicking agreements to download Java!!!) and needed help to clean out the last piece of malware.
I had passed Strike Twice several times after I joined a local small business mentoring organization located in the same small office building behind Knollwood Mall. Their technician offered to take a look at my laptop while I was at the office.
The initial diagnosis was for a typical one-​hour eval, but the nature of my laptop setup and the «spiral» malware forced them to spend another few hours to get to the bottom of the problem. Adding up those hours for same-​day return makes for an expensive inadvertent click, but it does appear that everything is back to normal. In addition, my laptop appears to be slightly faster. However, it is difficult (for me at least) to determine if the registry is completely cleaned out.
At some level, this type of support should be anticipated for anyone who uses their Windows computer regularly. Even so, it’s frustrating to have to resort to an expert to help with something so invasive, but they certainly saved me numerous hours on my own trying to get to the same point.
I did have a slight problem trying to redeem a Unilocal!coupon that I had purchased that morning ($ 75 or $ 100 of service), in that it took half an hour for the transaction to post. The offer was several years old and I was apparently the first person to ever use it. In the end, it would have been easier to just take the standard $ 20 off for a new customer (plus a 5% discount to pay in cash).

I found Strike Twice Computers on line. They gave me a generous credit for my old computer, fast immediate service and offered me a great deal on a refurbished laptop. Did all of the work immediately and I was out of there with a sweet new HP Laptop in less than 30 minutes.
