Decent asian style karaōke place. In the large room we had(party of 9, but plenty of room for more) they had a flat screen tv, two mics & tambourines, and a remote. The room was relatively clean and all the equipment worked with no issues. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely go back! It’s set up a little odd, you go upstairs and walk past the karaōke rooms and into a small hair salon, this is where you pay. It was $ 40 an hour for the large room. Staff were friendly!

This is the oddest karaōke experience I’ve ever had. A karaōke place and hair salon in one? Who’da thunk? But, alas, we went here for 2 hours of awesome karaōke on a Saturday night. This place has two of those private karaōke rooms that I grew fond of back in Berkeley, where there are places that are solely for karaōke. Too bad the salon closes at a certain time before karaōke starts, otherwise it’d be fantastic to get a hair oil treatment AND belt out Abba’s Greatest Hits while you’re waiting. The song selection is pretty expansive and current. We were able to pick songs in the current Top 40(then again, Rolling in the Deep has been in the top 40 for foreeeeever), and then some oldies too. You enter your song number in this huge remote control of sorts. They’ve got two mics, a couple of tambourines, and one fan to cool down an otherwise warm room; seriously, it was getting hot in there with all the singing and dancing. I would say half the fun was watching what random Korean video would show up as the song’s «music video.» It had absolutely nothing to do with the song, and we were so mesmerized by it. There is one BIG disappointment with this place though: they don’t allow alcohol in the room. I mean, seriously, WTF? I’m sure it’s because it is a salon after all. It’s a good thing we’re the type of people that don’t need any liquid courage to shamelessly scream out such awesome hits from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and today.
