Shine Salon

It’s a cute little hair salon in a cute little town. I get my hair done there and the service is amazing. Plus, they do a great job at doing my hair and cutting it too. If you don’t know where ti get your hair cut, go to shine.

Shine is a cute neighborhood salon, located in Linden Hills. The décor is fun and boutique-​y, and the space is relatively small; excellent for when you want to relax or chat with your stylist without fighting to be heard over the roar of 20 blowdryers found at bigger salons.
I’ve been seeing Suzi for about 4 years here, and couldn’t be more stoked about the quality of my cuts and color. I have also worked with Monica on waxing services, who has done a great job.
What I dig most about this place is the fact that the stylists maintain a great balance of professionalism and mellowness. I definitely feel like i’m «at the salon» and having a pamper sesh, but it’s a cozy little place and everyone is relaxed enough to make you feel like you could probably roll in wearing your PJ’s and it’s cool. I have also noticed they have had relatively low, or no turnover, amongst the staff there while i’ve been a client — something that I personally have not observed often in the (many) salons I’ve frequented. To me, that says they have got something good goin’ on here.
