SEE

I am normally a one-​pair-​of-​glasses-​to-​wear-​at-​night, contacts-​all-​the-​time kind of girl. Almost a year ago I got my first pair of SEE glasses and have been wearing them so often, I started thinking about another pair! I went back to SEE to try on some more frames, looking for a more funky pair to balance out my tortoiseshells from a year ago. My first visit to SEE was so magical, I was a little worried that this time wouldn’t live up to my memory…
Silly me! It was just as great! The manager, Kate, remembered me and my husband – wow! She helped me pick out some killer frames that I absolutely LOVE. I can’t wait to get another new pair!

These guys and gals pull out all the stops in customer service, they have wicked fun frames (with NO attached brand logo), and actually have a nice selection of quite affordable frames in addition to high end. What more could you wish for? No need to shop those crappy chain stores ever again!

1^st time here and I will be back. The service, quality, selection, design options and prices are excellent. I was ready for a full day of driving shop to shop to find new glasses which is my typical experience. I decided to stop at See first and about an hour later I had purchased several pairs. I had come in to find just one replacement pair and the prices and styles were so good I ended up with several pairs. I can’t wait until they get in!

The last time I updated my glasses prescription was 1998. I only really used my glasses for when I’m about to go to bed or if I was too lazy to put my contacts in during the weekend.
I figured it was about time to get some new glasses. I searched online for Aetna providers, and SEE came up. I was encouraged by the few reviews I saw and decided to go in.
I can’t speak to the quality of the eye exam since I already had my prescription. I came in, explained what I was looking for, and Ben was very helpful in finding me different frames to try on. I ultimately decided on a pair of plastic tortoise glasses. The plus side is that if you have a low nose bridge, you can always get nosepads put in later. I also decided to get high index lenses (thinner lenses for those of us with bad eyesight) with transition ability (new technology has updated this to be much cooler than the transition lenses of the 90s).
Every insurance plan is different, but I got 30% off my frames and lenses. Total cost of the glasses were $ 200 cheaper than the ones I bought 17 years ago and can also be worn in the sun (bonus)! So I’m pleased.
Glasses come in 7 – 10 days. I’m excited.
Ben was very helpful and not pushy. The other staff that were there were easy to talk to. I liked the selection there given my mostly conservative but not school marmish taste.
I was in and out in less than an hour. Granted it was not busy (yet) but typically it gets very busy Saturday afternoons.
I’ll be back here again when I need my next pair. And I won’t wait 17 years.

If you like help when picking out glasses, this place is great! If you like saving money on designer like frames, this place is great. If you like friendly staff and good doctors… you see where I’m going with this, right? I have tried many places over 20 years getting glasses in Minneapolis and never had a place I would be loyal to until now.

I just purchased my first pair of glasses. This is traumatic enough. I had my prescription diagnosis done at St. Paul Eye Clinic and then I went frame shopping. The frames I picked out from See are outstanding as they have a very chic selection.
The best part was the super helpful staff. The manager, Ben was always there to answer my technical questions and assure me that at my age (cough cough) it takes longer to adjust to a first pair. They were even willing to do a complimentary exam there if I went too long feeling like the prescription was incorrect. Two weeks later, I’m doing fine with no further action.
They have themselves a new repeat customer.

We’ve never met and Ben knew

contacts case & solution in the back,
and gave me space to look in the mirror.
«Don’t lift a finger,» he insisted, after
I was done. He told some stories
of a roadtrip and where he was from;
his smiles overflowed the minutes.
«Please come back, just to chat,» and
when I did, another employee handed
me eye piece after piece, like kids
who share Halloween candy and peace.
She fixed my glasses, said, «Hi,
my name is Ava,» and shed a big grin.
