I am absolutely smitten with Paper Rock Scissor Studio in Minneapolis. They are the BEST custom design studio I have ever worked with. Kate has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is passionate about her craft and it shows in the final deliverables. I have worked with her on multiple projects and she listens to my needs in addition to offering her creative expertise. The final product has always exceeded my expectations and has been delivered on time to boot!

Kate’s attention to detail and her ability to customize a design just for you is definitely on point. She ran every detail by me and was very good at communicating.
We’ve had SO many compliments on both (save the dates and invites). A family member even said she was going to frame our save the date because it was just too cute to throw away!
If you want quality and beautiful customized work, along with a wonderful person to do them – I highly recommend Paper Rock Scissor!

I can’t say enough positive things about Paper Rock Scissor… but I will try.
First off, working with Kate was awesome. Before we even started the custom invite creation process, we met with Kate at their shop (which, BTW, is the cutest place ever — I wish I could move in) to discuss our initial thoughts, colors, etc. She put us both at ease — as it is a pretty overwhelming process — and had a lot of great creative ideas for our invites. She took the time to get to know us and it really showed when she shared their concepts. I also appreciated that she gave us a few options if we were willing to spend more, but also ways that we could mitigate some additional costs and still achieve the invites we wanted.
As we went through the process (proofs, updates, changes and more), Kate was really responsive via email and was always willing to go above and beyond, i.e., when my mom realized we had spelled someone’s name wrong, Kate immediately whipped up another printed envelope and sent it to me in the mail, saving me a trip to the shop.
Overall we were absolutely thrilled with our custom invites and the process. The best part is that so many people told me that they loved our invites (how creative! how different! how modern!) and that they looked like «us.» Sure, they might have been lying since it was our wedding and all… but I don’t think so.

I absolutely love this shop and working with them has been the most enjoyable part of my wedding planning! They not only have impeccable design sense, but also an intuitive and discerning ear for bringing visions from concept to paper. Following a design consultation in their warm and inviting shop, production time was prompt and the quality of printing and paper exceeded my expectations. They offer a number of high quality vendor lines, but also specialize in designing unique custom invitations at an affordable price.

A very cute stationery store with beautiful wedding invitations (including some amazing letterpress from Spark). Unfortunately, my fiancé didn’t like the Spark offerings, so we went with another company. I would have loved to give them my business, though. Great customer service (helpful during the consultation, followed up, but never pressured us too much). And the prices seemed very reasonable.
