I had the wonton soup and beef and broccoli for delivery. The wonton soup was really good. The beef and broccoli was decent — the broccoli was big and fresh. It had bamboo shoots too. They had a quick delivery. I’d order from Ming’s again.

I was shocked at the poor experience I had at the Ming Garden. I thought based on all of the positive reviews that the food would be good. It wasn’t. I thought the price would be reasonable. It wasn’t. I thought the staff would be fast and friendly. Well actually that’s true. So they get one star.

I think they have awesome food here. I don’t know why they aren’t rates better. The best walnut chrome I have ever eaten!

Great food and if your looking for egg do young this is the spot! This is nice family atmosphere. We have a 9 and 12 year old and the had the fried rice. Eggs rolls were really good too!

Nothing but positive things to say abut my first experience with Ming’s. We ordered a lot of food, not all of which I know by menu name, and there wasn’t a bad dish in the mix. Favorites include chicken curry, mixed vegetables in oyster sauce and chicken in black bean sauce. Our food was picked up by someone else so I cannot speak to the establishment, décor, service, etc.

Very friendly staff! Accommodating for special orders. Ordered online very easily, order was completely right. Best Chicken Lo Mein I’ve had in a long time. Great cream cheese wontons, loved the mini container of sweet and sour! Food was fresh and hot. We definitely will be ordering from them again!

Very friendly and inviting staff. The dinner buffet was well above average and it’s still under $ 10. I am excited to try other dishes!

I ordered the take out combo of kung pao chicken. I specifically asked if they could make it mild, and she stated it was not spicy. Well, when I got it home, it was spicy for me and I started coughing from the pepper. Chicken was also chewy. Will not be back, will never go back, or recommend.

I just had a first experience at this restaurant. I ordered chicken egg foo yung — it came. It looked different as there were 4 small patties and I now know was not ‘real’ chicken but some sort of processed chicken on too. As I took my first bite I quickly realized it bad as it looked. I complained to the waitress & she returned with the manager. Manager stated this was their version and I ordered it so it was my problem NOT there’s if I didn’t like it. I was shocked and told her fine but I would not return to the restaurant. The manager shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Why am I giving it 1 star? Because my waitress felt so bad. that she told me to «take back my(generous) tip because it did not go to her, it went to the restaurant». Very kind & sweet waitress. Very unkind manager!!!

My husband and I ordered 2 of their dinner combination plates for take out and they were not very good-average at best. This was our first and only visit.

Buffet is satisfying and has good variety. Food is sometimes in warmers too long and becomes dry. They aim to please, though, and are always willing to bring out a fresh order.

My brother and I had the lunch buffet here and both found it to be pretty average. The selection is not as deep as many other buffets that I’ve been to in the area, though the old standbys are mostly present, e.g. sweet&sour chicken, egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken, cream cheese wontons, kung pao chicken, terryaki chicken, rice, and green beans. There were no pork dishes and only one beef option at the time I was there. The food tasted fresh, though a little weak on the flavor side, but that is probably what most Minnesotans prefer in the land of the bland. The fried dough sugar balls were placed in the cold dessert section, which I found a little odd. I would have liked to have seen a soft serve ice cream station, which is pretty much standard fare at most buffets I’ve been to, but there were enough sweet treats that I still managed to leave with a bloated belly and satisfied sweet tooth. The website advertises $ 6.50 for the lunch buffet, though our total came to $ 7.46 apiece even though we only had waters to drink. Maybe they have bumped the price to $ 7.00, but it is hard to tell as they hand-write the receipts. Not a complaint by any means, just a point of info. Regardless, a decent meal for under $ 15 for 2 people. The service was on point with taking away plates and refilling waters, which is about all you really need at a buffet. All in all, it’s worth the price of admission.

Great lunch buffet. I’ve had better take-out. You can’t beat an $ 8 lunch buffet. They’ve got some great options here. It’s not extravagant or anything, but it’s tasty and budget-friendly. They hit the high spots for what I need in a Chinese buffet: — Cream Cheese Wantons — Steamed Rice — Fried Rice — Noodle Dishes — Good chicken & beef options — Good veggies — All-you-can-eat — Small, but nice, dessert selection. Plus the staff is super friendly and the service is great. The one time we got take-out from Ming’s it was only okay. Wasn’t as much of a fan, but I’ll definitely keep coming back for lunch!

The lunch buffet is less than $ 8, which really can’t be beat, but sometimes you get what you pay for. The variety of the buffet isn’t bad, but sometimes the meat is too tough. As long as you enjoy the select items within the buffet you will get your money’s worth. Typically they have a few chicken dishes, tofu, some veggies, wontons, miso soup, and desserts along with white rice and fried rice. The green beans are always delish! One night, we ordered beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein for take out and it sort of tasted like it was from that day’s lunch buffet.

After flipping through the happenings book I found a great coupon for BOGO. The food was great and the service was so fast, it was like they know what I wanted before I showed up. I cant wait to go back.

The Food at Ming’s is fresh. The buffet is small but offers quality dishes. The restaurant needs to add some spice to the food though. General Tso’s should not taste like Sweet & sour chicken. All in all passable Chinese food.

Standard suburban Chinese food place. Has a buffet… Check! Does take-out…Check! Offers delivery… Check! Their Chinese food is delicious and as is usually the case, you get a great deal of it. The beef with broccoli, beef lo-mein and steamed potstickers did not disappoint. The jewel-fried rice left a little bit to be desired, but what they offered was not totally unexpected. They seem to have very affordable prices for their buffet if you roll over and want to sit-down. If you want to take the buffet to-go, they’re cool with that too.
