Milio’s Sandwiches

No one’s ordering Milio’s because it’s authentic Italian.
We order because it’s good, inexpensive and fast. At least it’s supposed to be fast. I’ve ordered from this store (online or by phone) a little over a half dozen times and they’ve always told me 45 minutes. I’ve never gotten a sandwich from them within the hour, not once.
You can call and ‘file a complaint’ sure but they just don’t care.
Save yourself a ton of time and go with something else. Your stomach and patience will thank you.

This review is going to be short. It’s cheap, moderate quality food, that’s there when you’re hungry. I always get the #14 (honey mustard chicken), it’s always made to my liking and has an adequate amount of honey mustard on the sandwich. This place is nothing to rave about; it’s attached to a liquor store, so parking’s a nightmare and the place is outdated by about 25 years (but who notices that). The employees are friendly, depending on the time of day (day staff = awful /​night staff = great people).
Will I be back? Yeah, again it’s cheap and the closest Milio’s to my house.

If you put a Milio’s sandwich next to a Jimmy John’s sandwich and did a blind taste testing, you wouldn’t know which is which. The only difference would be you get more meat with a Jimmy John’s! Nothing spectacular about the Milio’s chain, so I’ll stick to the very best sub shop — Jersey Mike’s Subs!

Just wanted to update a bit. I just moved to the city at the end of OCT and have ordered from here probably 5 times. Lately the delivery’s have been very very slow on average we wait about 45 — 50 minutes. Our last order we placed at 1:30pm on Sunday we were told 40 minutes the order didn’t get to us until 3:15 pm. They did give me a free sandwich with my next order however I’m not sure how orders are taking this long when Milio’s is not that far from us. We will continue to order from them, but for other people if you are expecting to get an order within 30 minutes or less I wouldn’t go with them.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Milio’s location! I went to college in the neighborhood, and spent way more money there in my four years at college than anyone should have, I’m sure. The counter staff all knew me by name. :P
I loved it when they started offering wheat bread. I’ll take a #6 on wheat and a pickle, please! I was *thisclose* to getting a part time job there, but the jobs always went to friends of people who already worked there. I ran into a guy from this location a couple of years after I graduated, and he told me how he lobbied to get me a job there, to no avail. At least he tried. :)
I was outraged when they changed to being Milio’s instead of Big Mike’s, but when the food stayed the same, I calmed down. Tasty business, and worlds above Jimmy John’s.
