This Mcdonald’s is like going to White Castle on Lake Street… you never know what kind of service you are going to get. Their staff ranges from really competent to not so much. My last experience here they let a stranger walk away with my order and they blamed me because they said they called it! I will admit that it was a similar order to mine but why would I go up and get it if I did not order milk with me sausage burrito and hash brown! Additionally, my receipt wasn’t even given to staff member that was packing the orders. I understand mistakes happen but if you are going to precede to argue with me and blame me for your mistake I can take my business else where. There are many other Mcdonald’s I can go to in this city.

How hard is it to add cheese when you order ‘a sausage biscuit ADDCHEESE’? Apparently, quite difficult.

Everyone behind the counter is saying, «Shit», & «God Damn» like it’s every other word coming out of their mouths. An employee came in and cut ahead of customers to order a salad. He stood there in front of everyone and loudly demanded to his friends working what kind of salad he wants as he leaned all over the counter and rubbed his hand over his nose & face & then back on the counter. I watched him do this several times not realizing how disgusting it was for the many customers watching him. He likes tortilla chips & chicken on his salad. A man walked in wanting a cup of water and I heard this employee tell the man it would cost him $ 1.80 for a water cup and he was told to pay or he can’t have any. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a few coins clearly not able to afford to pay. This man was turned away for WATER. I’m speechless. These people here are breeding a culture of not giving a crap about their jobs or customer service.

I have been here several times for their food. I find that this is a hit and miss place for me. Sometimes, I get great service. Sometimes, I get lousy service. It is hard to predict which one I will get. I find that the drive-thru is better than ordering inside. I have had my order messed up there multiple times. I understand that things happen, but this place tends to do it much more frequently than the average place. When they get it right, it is served to me fresh, and it tastes delicious. I have not had many problems with being served cold food. I have had many occasions when customers have made me feel uncomfortable, and management did nothing about the situations. Some of these situations include customers yelling, intimidating employees and other customers, and loitering. For me to feel more comfortable walking inside, management has to crack down more on such situations. This is why I prefer the drive-thru. On their behalf, the employees are friendly. Anytime I have had issues with food, they are apologetic and willing to correct the situation. When I am in the area, I do not always expect the best. I will continue to expect better service in the drive-thru.

Wow. This location is, and has been a DISMAL example of McDonald’s for some time. The lobby could be empty, and you’ll still be left aimlessly waiting. My typical wait time is minimum 7 minutes. NOONEELSEINLINE. My biggest gripe is the customer service. You approach the register, and you’re greeted by a stare down. ‘Hello’ is never mentioned. ‘What sauce you want’ is not acceptable as the only rhetoric offered by the gentleman(?) that I frequently encounter. As a shy person, I don’t appreciate being shouted at when I’m not sure my order number. You never gave me a receipt, or told me. Lastly, during a recent visit one female manager was obviously too sick to be at work. Several times while I was in line, she left the register, saying ‘one sec’ running to the food prep area, and VOMMITTING into a trash can. After vomiting, she would return to the register, as if she hadn’t just VOMITED in the food prep area multiple times. I did not order food during that visit. This McDonald’s is PATHETIC.

What can be said about McDonalds that hasn’t already been said? There are dozens upon dozens of them littered across the metro, tempting Twin Citians with their greasy fast food wares. There’s nothing particularly striking about this location except that it happens to be the closest one to me. And it’s my personal hangover haven. In dire circumstances I begrudgingly drag myself out bed, hit the drive thru, and order a much-needed greasy breakfast sandwich with an equally greasy hash brown. And an OJ for good measure. I’ve never had an order messed up at this location which I very much appreciate when my pounding headache makes it hurt to think. The staff are usually very friendly, quick, and efficient, all qualities which are much appreciated in the throes of an epic hangover.

Okay, this is McDonalds so you already know about the food. I like this location because the manager is nice, along with the employees — they remember who I am, even though I don’t eat here regularly. The quality of the food is hit and miss, but what do you expect?

If you find a friend has checked in here, please do your best to reach out to them(unless you know they are just using the redbox) …you wouldn’t just stand back and do nothing if you knew your friend was slitting their wrists would you…

I couldn’t say anything more about the food that everyone doesn’t know. What’s interesting about this McDonald’s is its location on «Eat Street,» known for its bevy of spicy«ethnic» restaurants of many nationalities. For many in the neighborhood it is a thorn in the side, not just because of it blighting the marketing of Eat Street, but because of it’s non-working wages, output of smells, and car-centricity(drive-throughs create local traffic, global warming, and evil curb cuts). I however appreciate it for its inclusiveness. McDonald’s is a space in which anyone can feel comfortable — in the sense that everyone knows exactly what to expect, how to order, what to get, where to sit, etc. It’s a democratic space — people wearing any clothes, any hair do, of any class, sexuality, or disability, can go without fear of feeling out of place. This particular McDonald’s is a favorite of the large, local population of supportive housing residents. They can walk over in their pajamas and sticking up hair, get their cup of coffee, a hamburger perhaps, hang out as long as they want, meet friends, whatever, and not feel weird. Many other great restaurants on Eat Street are friendly places, don’t get me wrong, but realistically, does any rival the inclusivity of McDonald’s?

What’s with all of the horrible reviews on this place? Come on, it’s McDonald’s… what kind of food were you expecting? Have you ever eaten here before? Though I would never choose to go to McDonald’s for an actual meal, I am not above the occasional McRomance with my boyfriend. What’s a McRomance you ask? A late night trip to McD’s for some ice cream. I live in the Uptown area, wedged between three different McDonald’s locations. This particular one has hands-down the best service. Everyone is so surprisingly friendly and nice, and it’s like that every time we go. It’s so refreshing to get such great service from a fast food restaurant. I love it, and feel it deserves a McShout-out.

I ordered a quarter pounder value meal here one night out of sheer urgency to get something to eat FAST before work. I haven’t had fast food in ages. So McDonalds reeked havoc on my body. Like, I actually thought I had temporary dysentery. Damn you McDonalds. You’re gross.

If I could do a negative star I would!!! My god. I haven’t eaten at this place in ages but today I let the 20 something crowd pick me up lunch and I yielded to what I can only call Peer Preasure. I took the ¼″ pounder meal… more like the 20 pounder meal(what you gain at least). 720 calories, like 42 grams of fat and that doesn’t include the fries. Thank god I had a diet coke with it. You know how long you have to hit the treadmill to work that lunch off! What was I thinking. You really want to know how bad the mickey d’s is(I don’t know why they use Mickey D, I always thought it was the mouse but if someone that size ate there they would be dead in a week. How would the kids deal with that) try answering a call for 15 minutes and then try choking down the last of a greasy f*cking burger you didn’t like to start with! Stay away, live longer, don’t venture to the dark side. KT

Its got the same problem as every other low rated McDonalds across the country, but a little worse. Fuck this McDonalds.
