Light Grey Art Lab seems like a solid all around gallery. They have a somewhat small yet very inviting space in a charming old building. The location is also convenient not being far from 26th and Nicollet which sports some great food and bars. This makes a night of art, food and drinks readily available in walking distance.
As for the specific exhibit, it was a collection of redone sci-​fi novel covers. I have to admit, this ranged from trippy to funny to intriguing. Too much modern art can be a lightyear from the vernacular and this really embraced it which makes it eminently more relatable despite its otherworldly subject matter. I would recommend checking this and whatever other exhibit Light Grey Art Lab are sporting.

My Print from the Expletive show just arrived and I’m so thrilled!
The staff here is so friendly and helpful! The 2nd show I attended with a Tarot theme was just as impressive as the first. I definitely will be back soon for their next show to buy some more art!!!
