John Fluevog

A few weeks back, I ordered a pair of shoes from this very John Fleuvog store. The order was placed through this specific location and was handled and shipped from the Minneapolis store.
My order arrived virtually overnight and I didn’t pay for the express shipping. I think they just did it as a favor. Wonderful people to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the shoes or the service. They even threw in a little thank you note. That’s going the distance to make the customer happy! I wish most retail businesses were like that, but they aren’t. I’m absolutely impressed.
Fluevog shoes come in fun, creative styles and they wear well. A pair of Fluevog’s will last for a long time. I prefer Fluevog shoes and boots to any brand out there. The shoes rock and were almost half off. I paid about $ 129. When I called them, I had planned to buy a different, slightly less expensive pair that were on clearance, but after discovering they were out of stock, I was steered toward this pair. I couldn’t be more pleased. While the pair I wanted was out of stock, they helped me find a suitable substitute for them, just a little bit more expensive than I had intended to pay.
I’ve always been a fan of John Fluevog shoes and this location has done its share to keep me a happy customer permanently.

I started perusing their website and following them on social media before actually visiting the store and was blown away. Quality, creativity, style, comfort — everything a person should want in a great pair of shoes — is exactly what you get with a pair of Fluevogs. They’re incredibly distinct and recognizable, and with so many different styles for men and women both, there’s a perfect pair of Fluevogs for everyone. Most shoes are made of quality leather and some even involve hand stitching. They’re not cheap but are worth the investment. John Fluevog stores also offer a layaway payment plan and an eight month warranty on each pair of shoes. Shopping done right!
The Minneapolis store carries a good supply of the entire Fluevog and can even order shoes for you from other Fluevog stores without any shipping fees. From the handful of Fluevogologists (sales associates) I have met, they’re all very friendly, accommodating, and true fanatics of great footwear and the Fluevog community.
John Fluevog is definitely a must-​stop-​to-​shop in Uptown. I bought my first pair of Fluevogs a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. Once you go Fluevog, it’s all over… IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY!

Killer shoes for girls and boys. Not cheap but neither are the shoes. Styles that I don’t see at the usual suspects. Always a safe bet for a gift for the wife. Owned several pairs of their shoes for two plus years and there still in good shape.

My girlfriends and I staged an adventure to the Fluevog store on opening day, and we weren’t disappointed. We had a blast with the super friendly staff, the mountains of shoes, and all of the goodies! (they had cupcakes and Fluevog pins for everyone)
Their store in Minneapolis is small but Fluevog-​perfect. It’s in the heart of Uptown, and has a funky vibe to it. It is always fully staffed by Fluevog enthusiasts who will rock your world. They flat out encourage you to have fun trying on as many pairs of shoes as your little heart desires, even if you’re just there to look. There is no pressure to buy, and their associates are honest about what looks good, and what might look better on your feet. I even got some expert advice about a finicky pair of boots from a gal there who was wearing them while she was working.
Yes, their shoes are on the pricey side of things, but consider this: I just bought a fab pair of basic black pumps that are going to last me at least ten years. I could either buy a new $ 30 pair at Target every year for the next ten years, or I could shell out the cash and buy a $ 150-​$ 300 pair that will LAST, and not have to worry about shoe shopping for a decade. On top of that, I can now get rid of 2 – 3 pairs of so-​so black shoes and keep the one good pair, which frees up closet space and makes the boyfriend happy. Closet space is at a premium in my house, people. This is a Big Deal.
Everyone in the store, sales associates and customers alike, has a blast in this tiny corner of shoe heaven. From strutting your stuff around the store in a dreamy pair of knee-​high boots to admiring someone’s vintage ‘vogs, it’s like one big happy shoe-​loving family. I just went last night to preview their sale, and I’m dragging the boyfriend back there tonight.
Quite possibly the best part about Fluevog in Minneapolis? Aside from the fact that we no longer have to road trip it to Chicago to get our shoe fix, there is no sales tax on clothing… or SHOES!
