Super cute little jewelry store that is new to the area. I have been in a few times, although never bought anything. I always think that it would be a great place for a small gift for a friend, like a bud vase, or a more serious gift like a necklace for Mother’s Day. Their displays are very Brooklyn feeling, and they certainly bring a new storefront vibe to Minneapolis.

Real incredible place. Many local designs. Fun location. But the best is the staff I met. Really wonderful. I bought a gift for a buddy of mine and they wrapped it up and made it real special.

Terrific reasonably priced and unique gifts. It’s not overwhelming and cramped like some of the other gift shops around town. You can come in here, breathe, take your time, and admire everything; maybe you’ll even find something lovely for yourself.

Updated review since it was showing up under the old location: Like I said, I felt sorta sad for Bryn Mawr that they lost Honeyshine but if you liked the store in BM, you will LOVE the shop in its new location in Linden Hills. I love the children’s play corner with chalk and chalkboards and other such amusements. Appropriate, given the new digs’ proximity to Wild Rumpus. :) This is my new favorite place to pick up a hostess or birthday gift. You can tell the items are all carefully selected and unique. I particularly like the jewelry selection. The owner even placed a special order for a pair of cufflinks I especially liked that were not in stock. She had them ready for me in time for my hubby’s birthday. Thank you, Honeyshine!

So Honeyshine moved! I really enjoyed going to Honeyshine for fun gifts when they were near 394 but this location is even better. The space is open and allows you to see all they have to offer. Their card selection is amazing — you can get unique cards for any occasion. While I don’t personally have kids I did appreciate that they had a little play area for kids while in the store — very family friendly. The only reason I took away one star was the overall selection. While they still have many unique and giftable items, it felt a little light to me. Maybe I just came in the middle of seasons, not sure. Overall, it is worth a trip and now conveniently next to some great restaurants and the lake.
