So I’m yet to get into this location I will edit or add a review tomorrow but I called in to begin with and the first gal to answer the phone, Vanessa I think her name was, seemed absolutely clueless as to how I determine my eligibility through my insurance provider. Being as its MnCare I would have to be on hold for days to speak to anyone and that is only when the lines aren’t all occupied and it won’t let you thru at all. So she tells me the best thing I could do is pick up a book to read for an hour or more and just sit on hold until I can speak with someone and then just provide them with the Dr’s names. I call the separate automated line for providers to contact for eligibility… Convenient I know. It tells me I need to have their provider #. So I call back and she has no idea what that means so she hands me over to the older gal who actually knows her way around her occupation. Of course the older lady is able to tell me right away that I am eligible thru my insurance with an 8 digit ID # and that they don’t provide the provider ID # to patients since that is only for them to be capable if doing their job which includes them calling themselves to determine patients eligibility. The expectations and qualifications to be a secretary at this location must be extremely minimal but I will say the older lady was VERY helpful and prompt to answer any questions you’d expect she’d know the answers to.
