Go late… The lines are gone by 1:30. Really great salad. Sort of expensive but basically worth it. You gotta eat somewhere.

I love this place! The salads are packed with toppings and the dressings are delicious. Other salad places in the skyway do not compare!

Love, love the salads and had been ordering one almost everyday until yesterday. I was waiting to place my order and the staff took the person behind me. When I told her I was skipped she didn’t respond and continued to help the other customer. When I nicely asked her if she knew that I had been skipped, she just looked at me. I later found out that this was the OWNER. Maya Angelo said«people will forget what you did but never how you make them feel.» Why would an owner do that to someone that she knows is loyal and supports your business everyday.

Torn between 3 and 4 stars because I love this place, yet it’s pricey and about every other time, my salad is wet with dressing. The good: The ingredients taste very fresh, and I think roughly 1⁄3 of them are organic, which is great — who doesn’t feel good about putting good things in their body? This includes fresh herbs! My favorite salad is the caprese which has strips of fresh basil that adds such a flavor kick. I’m also a huge fan of the ratio of toppings to greens. They lean heavy towards toppings, which is the best part. The salads are also surprisingly satiating, both the overall portion size(I usually get the small/reg size) and the amounts of animal protein, grains, and cheese. I also love all the crunchy topping options they have, especially the pita chip pieces. The bad: I think the prices are a touch on the high side, but the value is usually there for me. I’m probably biased since I come here too often; I just wish I could keep lunch around $ 10 or less! My big grievance with this place, is that depending on who you get to assemble and mix your salad, you could end up with an incredible amount of dressing. I’ll try to post a picture the next time this happens, but I always ask for light dressing and it doesn’t always happen. Sadness for me is when the greens are limp and sad with a drippy coat of dressing on both sides. Yuck. Still, I will be back again and again. And again. Also — I love fresh avocado, but this is not one of those places that offers that. When they list avocado, they mean an avocado paste reminiscent of guacamole.

Fresh ingredients & fast service … overall pretty solid spot for lunch. Only downside is that they don’t take American Express.

It’s great that they have a brick & mortar location now! The expanded menu is great. I’ve had lunch salads, the grain bowl & a smoothie and enjoyed them all. Pricing is consistent with other salad focused places and portions are filling. You can opt for a small or large. Some of the staff could use more training because I’ve had to correct them twice on what I ordered based on what was being put in the salad, even after they kept checking their ingredients list.

I’ve been to the brick-and-mortar location a few times for lunch because it’s really convenient to my work. The salads are pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid lunch. My main issue is with the price. I can get a decent salad for way less than $ 9 other places in the skyway. The wait is usually pretty long, but the staff is nice and once you’re up to the counter it moves really quickly. I wish they accepted American Express.

Although I am not sure where the grain comes into the menu beyond the tiny amount of rice in the cowboy wrap I ordered, this was definitely a great lunch. It was a little spicy for the typical Minnesotan, so you will want to eat the celery if you don’t like spice. The wrap was a typical price for downtown food trucks and the portion size was good. I would highly recommend this food truck.

The salads here at the best! Always fresh, with a good balance of interesting flavors. They keep the menu small so everything is fresh, but mix it up day to day so there’s always something new to try. The Cowboy and the new Santorini are my favorites.

Such fresh options for a food truck! Love it. I forgot to take a photo of the menu. It’s a short menu, there were about 4 salad options that could all also be made into wraps. Also there was froyo! I will have to try that sometime. For $ 9, I got this Asian chicken salad that was bigger than my head. Delicious and super fresh.

OMG! Yes! I am eating the Moroccan salad right now and freaking out. So good! Yay! The cook said it was the first day this was on the menu. Please keep it on! I will be back! Thank you, Green + The Grain!

Finally gave this food truck a try when I found out that things could be a salad or they could be a wrap. I had the Asian Tenderloin wrap, and it was delicious. Great combination of flavors(heat and sweet balanced), and the fixings in the wrap were all great compliments to each other as well. Very filling as well. Make sure you find a spot to sit and eat the wrap as they are filled with drippy goodness. I will definitely be back to try out one of their other dishes.

I usually shy away from the food trucks because it’s more of a novelty food experience and generally over priced for the portion sizes. But, I gave Green + the Grain a try because a co-worker is part owner and I’m all about supporting a colleague! I’ve been back twice now and have had the berry salad both times. Highly recommend it! They use organic ingredients and the portions are generous. They have a modest menu, a good variety but not a ton of options. You can choose to have your menu item made as a wrap or a salad. I’ve gone with friends each time and we’ve left satisfied both times. I’ll definitely be back again! Support your local business, especially this one! I think it’s great that they promote using organic ingredients and sustainable products for packaging.

As a downtown resident I enjoy the food trucks, but Green and the Grainis something very special. I ordered the berry natural salad and was astonished at the complexity. They are made to order and filled with fruit, nuts, a tasty dressing, and a generous amount of lettuce. I paid $ 15 at a sit-down restaurant the day before and, while it was a good salad, it was not in the same league as this amazing lunch. Find this truck, and enjoy!!!

Very flavorful and fresh. Each entre can be ordered as either a wrap or a salad. I have tried the Berry Natural wrap and the Cowboy wrap, both with chicken. Loved them both(5 stars). They came with a side of carrot and celery sticks and a yummy spicey sauce — good enough that I actually ate the celery and liked it. The food was great but I took off one star because the menu is really small, offering just 3 entres and a plain frozen yogurt. You can change up the protein from what is listed(like get chicken in your Cowboy instead of the beef tenderloin shown on the menu) but you don’t know this unless you ask. If they add a couple more things to the menu and make the options a little more clear, I will give it a 5.
