Goorin Bros

This is a great hat shop– very helpful and friendly staff with wonderful hat choices for men and women. My husband now has 4 hats and I have 1. Go there– you won’t be disappointed!

Called Goorin Bros. looking for a specific hat and thy located it at this shop. Rachael was super nice and helpful and shipped it right away.

So I stopped in here after becoming overwhelmed by the sea of lumbering suburbanites at the art fair. I admit I went in with low expectations.
I’ve had the same hat for 10 years. And the reason is because it is the only hat I’ve ever found that looks decent on me and my weird head. Problem is, after 10 years, it’s beat to hell. And also, I was a young teen then, and I’m a grown-​up now. My features have sharpened, my style has changed, and it doesn’t look as good as it used to. It makes me look like… well, a grown-​up wearing a teenager’s hat.
I geared up for another frustrating hunt for a hat, sure to end with me leaving empty-​handed.
Amazingly, the first thing I tried on looked pretty damn good. So did lots of other things. Very few looked as god-​awful as every other hat I’ve tried on everywhere else.
The staff was helpful and pleasant to simply converse with. I could have hung out a lot longer.
The prices aren’t bad for the feel of the hats. I reckon there may be a slight mark-​up due to the specialty nature of the store, but if you have as hard a time finding a hat as I always have, I think it’s worth it to have so many options. There are also cheaper hats available in the $ 20 — $ 50 range. But personally, I immediately gravitated towards the nicer (and more expensive) American-​made offerings.
After 10 years, I finally left with a new hat. It’s a little crazy, but I think that suits me, and I wore my crazy, dandy hat with pride walking home.

Very helpful staff have assisted me in choosing three wonderful hats so far! To top it off, I received a call last week that I was the monthly winner of the free hat drawing! Very happy to have this wonderful specialty shop in town!
