Full Cycle

Seriously great day at Full Cycle today! Took a few bikes in for tune-​ups and my daughter fell in love with an adorable pink «pedal» bike. The staff were friendly and kind to my five year old, and I’m excited to pick up our adult bikes next week!

As the fall biking season came to close for me late this November, I knew my bike needed to goin for a tuneup. I had purchased my 10-​year-​old Specialized from a coworker who never rode it earlier in the spring, and went straight to riding it as my daily commuter bike (average of 8 — 12 miles/​day). Needless to say, eight+ months of biking meant it needed some TLC. Full Cycle was happy to help.
When I first called the shop to set up a time to drop my bike off, the woman who answered the phone was extremely kind and was able to get me in right away. I dropped my bike off that night. While there, a staff member and her apprentice looked the bike over, provided me with suggestions as to what would be a good idea to get done while having the tuneup, and gave me a very reasonable cost estimate. Being that we were heading into Thanksgiving weekend and because they have limited hours, I wasn’t able to get my bike the next day or anything (which I didn’t expect). I was, though, able to get my bike a few days later. Upon picking it up, the customer service was again just great and the pricing even cheaper than they’d first estimated.
I would highly recommend Full Cycle to anyone looking for a place to get their bike tuned-​up or repaired. Not only did they provide me with the best price in town (I checked the Hub, Penn Cycle, Freecycle, Sunrise, Alt Bikes, etc.), but they actually give back to the community. The staff is comprised of a few lead bike techs and several apprentices, who are homeless youth undergoing training in bike repair, business management, etc. I will definitely be going back!
