Dairy Queen

Shante, the cashier, yelled at me to «CLOSE THE DOOR!». Sweetie, I’m happy to let the door close, once I can get inside the establishment. That big long line you’re in charge of taking orders from is the one I’m standing in. Perhaps you could ring people up faster? Perhaps you could ask them to politely move up? Perhaps you could have your manager order stanchions so the line could wrap around outside?
You NEVER yell at a customer.
I watched you ring up the customers two in front of me, when they where done you chatted with your co-​workers ignoring the new set of customers in front of you. When it was my turn to order you didn’t look up from register. You didn’t greet me or ask me what I wanted. After an uncomfortable silence I just spewed out my order.
Too which you replied «We ouda dat!».

Really cool look and vibe! Nothing spectacular about the service but certainly not anything detestable. This particular location seems a little cheaper than the other ones I remember, but either way you’re paying a little more but always getting that delicious, consistent, classic Blizzard

I really don’t understand the one negative review posted about this DQ. We were there tonight, and it was lovely. The weather was perfect, and we sat out on the patio with our Blizzards and watched the traffic go by. The folks behind the counter were friendly and efficient; they were pretty busy tonight, but we were able to order and pick up our ice cream, lickety split.
We saw a couple of families with kids; it’s got a great neighborhood feel. The old-​fashioned signage certainly helps. I much prefer vintage Dairy Queens to the new style (though my husband said this used to be a Dairy *King*?)

Love the old school signage. Great place for something sweet after burgers at Adrians. Please do not remodel this and turn it into a Grill and Chill. The old style DQ’s are the best!

Ok so I know it’s weird to write a review of dairy queens but I grew up on them so they bring back lots of great memories from my youth! When I learned we were moving a block away from one I was so excited only to be disappointed with the worst dairy queen I’ve ever been to. The service is AWFUL, rude, slow and they have no idea what they are doing. The crowd can also be sketchy so don’t bring the kids! There’s better places for ice cream in the area!
