I’ll start with the good. 1. location is amazing. Walking distance to everything. 2. I like the size of my studio. It feels huge and open compared to some I’ve look at in the past. Irritating. Noise level is fine. Concrete walls make it difficult to hang anything on the walls but are great for noise. I can’t open my windows summer nights. There is always a drunk 20 something screaming outside my window from 2−3am…including week days… Hey that’s uptown though. The back door to the apartments keeps getting stuck closed. Last year it was fixed 5 times. Here’s a thought… if you can’t fix it, replace it. After several packages were stolen from the lobby and my clothes were stolen from the laundry room, while still being washed, management installed cameras with two months. Bad! It seems like the water keeps getting shut off every other week. Makes sense. My bathroom ceiling leaked on multiple occasions. They even stopped sheet rocking and put up some painted plywood in case it happens again. Building is falling apart. We no longer have an elevator because they were not able to bring it up to code. The halls smell like a litter box, weed, and body odor. Imagine how awful that is when it gets warm outside. There are 3 dryers in the laundry room. Only 1 really works. Last week the good dryer broke. I have still not heard from maint. They are probably busy with the plumbing. Last summer someone threw rocks through our apartment windows and the summer before that there was a car stolen from the underground parking garage. Yup. I’m ready to leave.
