I had a free Friday night and I haven’t been to an independent wrestling show for about 10 years. On a side note, I saw CM Punk when I saw him wrestling for St. Paul wrestling, and I told my buddy there was a real cool guy, CM Punk, at that time, and I saw him in the WWE about 3 years later. I don’t want to say I am an eye for talent, but draw your own conclusions. Anyway, they have beer for sale, so I picked up a PBR and sat about 20 feet from the mat. It was a ton of fun! My favorite was a 350 pound wrestler threating the announcer to announce him at 150 pounds. Then during the match he left the ring and ate part of the bacheorlette’s party cake by the side of the ring. Good stuff! Watching the kids and they were shouting«Turn around ref, he’s cheating!» and they believed it in all their hearts. Really fun. The first half had pretty weak wrestlers, but the second half had guys that really knew what they were doing. They only took about 5 bumps a piece, but what do you want for probably a $ 150 payday. It was nice that they had a sold out crowd of about 350 people, but I think I will probably come back here to support local wrestling.

This review is for Lenten fish fry. The KOC is a full-service restaurant. The fish comes either fried or grilled, you can get a combo platter but go for the fried, the grilled was a bit rubbery. Plates come with either a salad or cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder was very good with big pieces of clam. You also get a side of baked potato or french fries. The price was a bit higher than other fish frys, but the overall food was better, and you can order a pitcher of beer(actually they have a full bar.) The only cons are there was no desert, and as soon as it gets busy, the service gets very, very slow.
