Best southern food in MN hands down. Very flavorful and also excellent service. Be sure to save room for dessert!

We were in town on business and tried 4 Bells at the suggestion of the concierge at our hotel. What a great choice it turned out to be! Everything we had was delicious; we liked it so much that we went back the next night to try out other menu options. The scallops were among the best I’ve had and the hanger steak was off the hook — just about perfect. Shrimp and grits were a very interesting take on that southern staple — yummy! Nice draught beer selection and great Moscow Mules, too. Well worth trying if you’re in the area!

My son loves the Brick chicken so he recommended this place. I had great expectations but was kinda let down by the lack of options. No Bloody Mary on the drink menu and no Salt & Pepper on the tables and No Dessert on the menu!!! We ordered the fried chicken, biscuits and mac & cheese for dinner. The Mac & Cheese was made with child-like noodles and topped with spicy crackers. The fried chicken was ok but needed to be seasoned. And the biscuits were 2.5 inches tall which was odd to me because mine are always flat… WARNING: They serve the biscuits with lavender butter. So if you don’t want your food to taste like lotion, be sure to ask for regular butter!!!

My girlfriend and I ate here before catching The Book of Mormon at the Orpheum theater(super funny and entertaining but that review is probably for another app) We had the baby octopus, snapper ceviche, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and then the fried green tomatoes. Everything we thought was done really well especially the snapper ceviche and the fried chicken. The fried green tomatoes were also very good but just a little lacking in flavor overall. Our server was great, very conversational, very personable and didn’t rush us at all. We’d definitely recommend 4 Bells and we know we’ll go back as well.

I was so excited to try 4 Bells and heard it had a really great rooftop. However, my experience on their rooftop was anything but great… We were told it was seat yourself, my boyfriend and I made our way up and sat at an open table. Nearly 10 minutes passed with not one server coming over to take our order, let alone even making eye contact. It got to the point where we wondered if it really was seat yourself and got the attention of a server passing by and asked. We were told yes, it was seat yourself and someone would be coming over shortly. We placed a drink and app order. Tough luck if we wanted dinner, our server never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or food. We got our check and left. It really was an awesome rooftop space, so we are hoping it was just an off night for 4 Bells.

We were curious about 4 Bells with their Surf and Turf menu, 3.5 stars for the thought and service, 4 stars for freshness of their seafood ingredients being in Minnesota and all, but there’s still much to be improved in terms of the taste of their final products. For our dinner, we tried a spread of the menu to get a true representation of their offerings as followed: 1. Oyster Casino and Oyster Rockefeller: good taste and presentation, but couldn’t really taste much of a difference between the two. One has a crispy garlicky chip; one doesn’t. There’s still something missing and both tasting a bit thin. 2. Fried Whole Red Snappers: this is a whole fish and a bit gratuitous to have individually, I think the concept of sharing should be encouraged since there’s quite a few good side dishes offered. The snapper itself is fresh and the garlicky chili topping is quite nice but this should be an item for sharing instead of having someone stuck with a whole fish and not much else. 3. Seared scallops: nice and fresh scallop but seasoning is off being higher on the salt note and not much else to highlight the sweetness of a fresh scallop. 4. Peel & Eat Shrimp: for 4 medium count shrimp at $ 12, this was a regrettable choice. Pedestrian seasoning and overpriced. 5. Snapper Ceviche: heavy-handed«Leche de Tigre», that is orange and reminiscent of spicy mayo but not quite it. Not sure how I feel about this dish at all since the snapper itself is probably good but completely masked by a too heavy sauce. 6. Cauliflower Au Gratin: gooey and cheesy, good and adequate. 7. Mac and Cheese: a lot of pinwheel macaroni but no cheese could be found-disappointed. 8. Collard Green: wow, this one tasted wrong. I’m not certain what kind of green but it was far from being a collard green. The seasoning was weird with some sort of red wine simmering broth that didn’t sit quite right for this whole dish. Nice try for being an imposter collard greens but still, nevertheless, a no go. 9. Fried Green Tomatoes: this was very good actually. Crispy batter that, once bitten into, revealed a nice juicy green tomato-slathered in tarty-herby aioli. 10. Prime Steak: came with a couple of nice and crunchy onion rings and bone marrow but there was no vehicle to enjoy the bone marrow-no toast, nothing, I don’t know, perhaps we were supposed to just eat it straight up. Well, I really wanted to like 4 Bells. Service was impeccable and the ambiance is great but I’m here also for the execution on their food and there’s still much to be desired.

I was really hoping to like this place since I heard such great things about it and many claiming it’s better than it local(re)rival… I had to see for myself. Went with a friend and ordered brunch menu: –½ fried chicken w/lavendar butter and watermelon hot sauce –shrimp and grits –side of green chili hash –and some kind of rice bowl… I can’t remember the name sorry !(it had an egg on it) the best thing was the side of green chili hash. it was more like home fries or breakfast potatoes tossed in chimichuri sauce, slightly crispy and very flavorful. everything else was very underwhelming. The thing I was really looking forward to was the fried chicken. The chicken had no bones… which I thought was odd as bones add so much more flavor. but the kicker was that the chicken was SO salty. The batter wasn’t crispy/flaky, it was more oily/crunchy. I would be willing to go back and try dinner service, but the chicken was a disappoint«/ I will say, this place has a great rooftop, nice ambiance and good cocktails. so maybe skip the chix and get the drinks!

Southern Food is all the rage and this hot spot brought to us by the team behind Butcher and Boar fully lived up to the Hype for me. We visited on a quiet Sunday Evening and there were 4 of us for dinner. Since the fried chicken is touted in everything you read about this place, we had to have that. It was really good — and a LOT of chicken. Each couple ended up sharing an order which was fine — I had the large breast and wing, and my wife the thigh and drumstick. The chicken was very crispy, and flavorful — something I’d definitely have again. And, unlike some of the other chicken hot-spots, THISPLACETAKESRESERVATIONS(YEA!!). We also tried the boiled peanut humus as a starter which came with some wonderfully crispy and spicy house-made crackers and sliced vegetables. It was very thick and slightly grainy but had a nice peanut buttery flavor. For sides(ala carte on the menu), we got an order of the biscuits which were at least 3 inches tall, and came 4 to a serving. One per person was plenty! Like all the trendy spots, they’ve got their bourbon drinks which featured snow-ball sized round ice cubes to make sure things are super chilled. Their version of an old fashioned hit the spot for me. While it wasn’t too busy on a Sunday night, I’m betting that its pretty busy and probably pretty loud on the key dining nights so be aware. Their other place, Butcher and the Board is as loud as restaurants come these day. By the way, the name — 4Bells — is a nod to the neighborhood — they can hear the church bells from 4 different establishments. Highly Recommended.

My friend and I had just finished kickboxing and came here afterwards for brunch around 11 am. We had been craving fried chicken and heard that 4Bells had the best fried chicken in the Twin Cities so we obviously had to try it for ourselves! We had reservations and were sat down right away — although it wasn’t even that busy. It was such a nice and sunny day out so we decided to sit out on the patio! Our waitress was nice but wasn’t very quick to come around to our table and check on us often. The restaurant had a beautiful décor and I was in love with all the wooden tables! The menu and place settings were very cute as well. We ordered three entrees and one side: 4STARS — Green Chile Potato Hash — potatoes were crispy and the green chile added nice flavor — Shrimp & Grits — Shrimp had AMAZING flavor. I’ve never had grits before but I thought they were good haha 3STARS — Chicken & Waffles — waffles were good, but the chicken was more just salty than it was flavorful. I wished the chile sauce that came with it wasn’t so sweet either. 2STARS — Suckling Pig Rice Bowl — I’m not even quite sure how to feel about this dish. It was tangy? There was supposed to be BBQ on the pork I’m assuming but I didn’t think I tasted that. Probably wouldn’t order this again if I came back. And yes, we did finish it all — not because it was all so amazing but because we don’t waste food. We might be two little women but we have huge stomachs so never underestimate us ;) Overall, It was still a good brunch experience but not the best.

I was really excited about this place! I used all of the reviews from my fellow Unilocalers to help determine what I was going to order. We arrived at about 6pm on a weeknight and were seated outside as requested(on the first floor). We ordered the boiled peanut hummus, shrimp and grits, fried chicken and biscuits. Hummus was good but not worth $ 10 Shrimp and grits-too spicy, too little and was bad Fried chicken was good but not the best ever, sauces are good too but I wouldn’t go back for them Biscuits-this was the best thing we ate which is pretty sad The best part of the whole meal were the gentlemen who kept my water filled and cleared our dirty dishes quickly. Here are the parts that were REALLY bad-old fashioned server in one of the dirtiest glasses I’ve ever seen and no apology from our waitress. Asked for beer to come with meal and it came right away. Waitress changed in the middle of the meal. In the distant future I will try this again place again because so many seem to enjoy it but I was not impressed.

I was really excited to try the whole fried snapper but they were out when I was there! It was a very disappointing moment. Friend and I ended up splitting the fried chicken for the main course, baby octopus for apps, and fried green tomatoes as a side. Finished it off with the chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Fried chicken was good, although I think I prefer Revival’s a little more. Baby octopus had great flavor! Just wished there was more octopus as that’s the main part of the appetizer. Fried green tomatoes were great, the breading had a very nice crunch to it and didn’t become soggy like so many other breaded things tend to do. The chocolate bourbon pecan pie was super delicious but you could really taste the bourbon. We both agreed it was the strongest tasting alcoholic dessert we’ve ever had. I’d be leery letting children eat it honestly.

Ever had a dining experience that left your heart aglow? Well, I just did. Since I have the hots for Butcher and the Boar, I just knew I had to try their other restaurant, 4 Bells. They specialize in fresh seafood options and chicken dishes, while the Boar is all about the meat. They both do their thing and they do it well. Appetizer: We had tonight’s Market ceviche which was a soy and ginger cured Salmon with a little bit of avocado, cilantro, red peppers and sesame seeds with a slightly spicy sauce. It was as heavenly as our wonderful server had described it. Entrée: We shared the Southern Fried Chicken plate, the Biscuits with lavender honey butter, spicy Brussels Sprouts with jalapeño ranch, and the Mac and Cheese. Cocktails: I had the Quasimodo, a delightful concoction of London dry gin and chartreuse with lime and a rosemary sprig. The Beet Negroni: beet-infused Bombay gin with Cocchi Rosa Vermouth. This one also had an orange-peel rose inside the glass which simply added to the joy inside my heart. Both were delicious. For dessert we had a lovely little Chocolate Bourbon Caramel Pecan Pie with a scoop of vanilla-bean ice-cream! As delicious as every course was, the biggest highlight of our evening was our server. He never ceased to anticipate our every need, to delight our senses and to help us put our coats back on when we were about to leave. He was everything a server should be, and you could tell this was his passion in life. Thank you Ricardo. You are the best! You truly made our spontaneous dinner plans very special and we won’t hesitate to return to 4 Bells for another go. A note about the Loring park area: the restaurant is in a gorgeous spot with a few other restaurants and cafes along a very European looking alleyway with brick buildings, flowers boxes and quaint shoppes. It transported us back to another era for the evening. A perfectly executed dinner!

My and my fiancée came here for dinner recently, it was amazing and exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The ambiance is dark-ish sexy… the décor is urban and minimalist in a sense… and the food… OMG the food!!! I seriously could not decide what to get and the beauty of this place, you can eat as «healthy» as you want, or as «happily» as you want. They also have a huge price range so there is something to fit everyone’s budget. We started with oysters and while I forget the name of the oysters we had, I do remember we had half from new Zealand and half from the west coast. The New Zealand were much better and way bigger!(They have 4 options for oysters?!!) I had the ribeye with bone marrow and my fiancée had the fried chicken. My ribeye was perfect mid-rare and served with a BBQ sauce on it and blue cheese. My fiancée had what I believe was half of a chicken? It came with 3 sauces for dipping: watermelon hot sauce(my fav), a honey butter(his fav) and a honey mustard. The chicken and the ribeye both could have easily been split between us. It was way too much food, but thank god for doggie bags! For sides: we split the cauliflower au gratin and fried green tomatoes. I could have eaten just the pot of cauliflower and been happy with that for my meal. The tomatoes weren’t my favorite but they were ok, the crust on them was perfect, I just wish the sauce they were on was a litter spicier or sour-ish, but that is a personal preference. They were still really good. All in all, a wonderful experience.

I don’t have one bad thing to say about 4 Bells. For starters, the service was very good even despite our server training someone. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and helped us pick out a bottle that we all enjoyed. As for the food, we started with the biscuits. They were your authentic, buttery biscuits that you think of when you think of the South. You get four biscuits, which was plenty for the six of us. I got the fried chicken cobb salad and it was massive. The fried chicken was very tasty and the dressing was just the perfect amount of spicy. I also got the mac n cheese(based on Unilocal recommendations), which was also huge for a side. I was also not disappointed. For dessert, we shared the pecan pie. I don’t have the words to describe how delicious this mini pie was, but it was awesome. The crust was perfectly buttery and the ice cream/whipped cream/whatever was on the top made me wake up craving this dessert for breakfast. 4 Bells gave us a great experience and I will most definitely be back for more!

Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the staff was really excited to show us the place. The hostesses were bubbly beyond belief, and our server couldn’t wait to start walking through the menu with us(meaning he didn’t wait at all). I appreciated the genuine enthusiasm; when it’s that infectious that typically bodes well for the food. We also all noticed one of their kitchen staff, who was approximately 8 feet tall. Dude had a pretty deft hand for someone capable of dunking on LeBron. Before we get to the noms, I have to talk about my favorite part about 4 Bells. Usually I like to read through all the cocktails to make sure I’ve really thought things through before I order. Not this time. No, «Gin & Tonic: gin, house made tonic» caught my eye immediately and I was sold. It was a pretty spectacular G&T. To give you some context, one of my happiest memories is spending New Year’s Eve at Epcot with good friends and a Nalgene full of G&T. Have you ever sat in a faux reproduction of a Norwegian fishing village, buzzing and loving life? I have. We then started our meal with a trio of seafood appetizers. The first was the oyster casino, which was unfortunately not a little room of bivalves blowing their retirement money on penny slots. I managed to stay interested, however, when our waiter said an oyster casino kind of tastes like a pepperoni pizza. Let’s just say our skepticism melted away immediately because it really did taste exactly like a pizza. More specifically pizza rolls, and I think we can all agree that the world would be a much better place if more things tasted like pizza rolls. Next was the snapper ceviche, a chilled seafood soup with chilis, yogurt, and mint. It was very light and tasty. Also, apparently a common ingredient of ceviche is something called«leche de tigre» or «tiger’s milk.» That’s some serious false advertisement. But then again, I am glad there’s not some sap risking his life to milk tigers just for the benefit of high-end diners. Finally was the baby octopus, which was not false advertising because those octopi were tiny and adorable(and delicious!). They were garnished with orange, heart of palm, and serrano peppers; 4 Bells clearly knew how to pair seafood ingredients. The entrée round was a lot more Southern-themed, as I was beginning to think 4 Bell’s interpretation of «Southern» was every region that shares the entire Americas landmass with the Deep South. We had fried chicken, biscuits, cheesy cauliflower, pork chop, trout, and grits. The fried chicken was perhaps a tiny bit below Revival level, but still really crispy and well-executed. I remember the skin having a really unique and enjoyable crunch to it. We also opted for all four dipping sauces for the fried chicken. The honey butter worked well as a combination with any of the other three sauces. I was really into the watermelon hot sauce. The sweetness was very subtle and the spiciness pretty mellow. The more of it I had, the more I wanted a bottle in my fridge at home. One of those types of hot sauces that’s good to have around for any type of food. The gravy was just straight up well done, and they served it in the world’s tiniest gravy boat. The Delta Sauce(whatever that is) was the unanimous least favorite of the quad. The biscuits made for reliable vessels for sopping up whatever sauces were left over. Next was the pork chop, which was accompanied with grits and huckleberries. Again, just another really solid pairing of ingredients. I do remember wishing there were just a few more huckleberries, because having the pork, grits, and berries in one bite was the only way to go. The last entrée was the steelhead trout, which was poached in olive oil and came with some sort of spinach purée as well as some potatoes. It also had something called«furikake» with it, which just sounded inappropriate to me for some reason. Furikake(*cringe*) is a Japanese spice mix. The confusing part was the furikake(*shudder*) was also actually listed in quotations in the ingredient list, leading me to believe it wasn’t actually furikake(why, Drew, why). But then why put something obscure like furikake(actually not that bad this time) on the menu if it’s not actually furikake(okay, bad again)? Anyways, we all agreed that the crust on the fish was the best part. The fish itself was cooked perfectly, albeit maybe lacking some seasoning. The potatoes and purée were again a great complement to the fish; the menu construction at ol’ 4B was pretty well done. We were all pretty full, but the allure of the cocoa nib & Left Hand Milk Stout milkshake was too great so we ordered one to split. It was a solid milkshake. I didn’t particularly like having to chew pieces of coffee. Like my previous trips to Butcher & the Boar, I left 4 Bells feeling very content. Although the chefs drew inspiration from a variety of geographies, now that I think about it 4 Bells very much fit the ethos of traditional Southern cooking.

Holy fried chicken, y’all! Alright, so my friend and I meet up once a month for an elaborate meal at a place we’ve never been. This month it was my pick, and at the moment I picked I wanted some dang fried chicken. Boy, did I get it. I made the mistake of going here on a night when I wanted vegetables. They don’t have vegetables here. They have fried chicken and meat and seafood with vegetables for color on the side. Maybe. Regardless, I was highly impressed by this place. If you’re worried about the price, don’t because what you get at this joint is going to feed you for the next two dinners. Doggie bags are required. I was quite pleased with the cocktail options and went with the Bootleg, which is more summer appropriate with its clean, refreshing taste. I had three because they were so delicious. We started with the boiled peanut hummus because almost vegetables, and I have to say the aged cheddar crackers it came with were RIDICULOUS. How were these things even real? We got two orders of those crackers and tbh it wasn’t enough. I think I’ll have a forever craving for those. For the main course, I opted for the fried chicken cobb because I still had a delusion I would get more vegetables than meat. Haha, I’m dumb. I got two giant fried chicken breasts and an entire head of iceberg lettuce with bacon and buttermilk jalapeño dressing. There were tomato and avocado in there somewhere, supposedly, but mostly it was chicken and buttermilk-flavored iceberg lettuce. I ate approximately ¼ of this and worked on it for the next two nights. My friend ordered a half southern fried chicken, and if that was a half of a chicken then it must have had six legs. We counted, because for $ 17 he got a mutant giant half chicken. Finally, for dessert we went with the Brownderby Pie, which was stupid good. The size is definitely meant for sharing because you get a little mini-pie. I can’t say I’ll ever be a regular here because the food is so, so heavy. The next time I want to spend under $ 20 for some damn good fried chicken that will feed me for a few days, I’ll be stopping by here.

I wanted to try someplace new for the celebration of my birthday last week, and Island Boy and I decided on 4 Bells. It’s always tough not knowing what to expect from someplace you’ve never tried, and you don’t want a special occasion to be spoiled because of a bad choice, but I’m happy to report that with this particular risk came a great reward! Here’s the rundown: Food: 4.75 stars. BABYOCTOPUS: 4.5 stars CHICKENLIVERTERRINE: 4.75 stars(the parsnip panna cotta wasn’t necessary, and they could serve it w/twice the amount of bread for how much pâté there is. SEAREDSCALLOPS: 5 stars(served atop a generous corn cake with Coffee-Maple jus): Oh my goodness, these were amazing! All of the flavors come together to play sweet symphony in your mouth! SOUTHERNFRIEDCHICKEN: 4.75÷5(served half or whole with chicken gravy, watermelon hot sauce, delta sauce(thousand island-esque) and honey lavender butter). Easily one of the best fried chickens I’ve had in the Twin Cities. The skin was perfectly crispy, the portions were generous, and the sauces were crazy amazing(especially that watermelon hot sauce… if they bottled that, I would totally buy it!) The only thing that would have improved the chicken would have been if they added some heat to the breading, but that’s just me… I love spice! BUTTERMILKMASHEDPOTATOES W/GRAVY: 4⁄5. Nothing out of this world, but a decent mash. Some sort of garlic, chives, etc. would have improved them for sure, but the gravy definitely brings the spuds up a notch. BUTTERMILKBISCUITS W/HONEY LAVENDERBUTTER: 5⁄5(4 of them for $ 5)First off, they’re ginormous! The biscuits themselves aren’t anything particularly special flavor wise, but paired with that honey lavender butter… oh my goodness, words cannot describe how heavenly that is! GINGERSNAPBREADPUDDING: 5⁄5 Absolutely delicious!(new as of 10÷30÷15) Drinks: 4.75 stars. Fairly extensive list of craft beers from MN and across the US, and no hassle when requesting samples). Also a moderate wine list and some delicious-sounding and beautiful-looking craft cocktails(I heard countless«Ooooos» and«Aaahhs» about them from the table next to us). Service: 4.5 stars. Katelin was our server, and she was fantastic(although she forgot it was my birthday when she first brought out the dessert, so she had to bring it back with a lit candle). The staff was great about keeping the table clear of finished plates, however when they took our leftovers to box them up, they didn’t include all of the sauces left on our plates as requested. That wouldn’t normally be a big deal, but when you have 2 gravy boats nearly full of gravy and ¾ of an order of mashed potatoes and ¾ of an entire chicken to take home, a TABLESPOON of gravy doesn’t exactly cut it! Value: 5 stars. Total bill was $ 124 w/tax for 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 beers and a dessert(we were stuffed to the max, plus we had a half dozen doggie boxes that made for 2 more meals for each of us) Décor/Atmosphere: 5 stars. It’s absolutely beautiful, and every room you peek into has something new to offer. They have a private room upstairs with a large flat screen TV, as well as a covered rooftop bar pavillion area(complete with TVs for watching your game du jour), plus an adjacent rooftop patio with views of the Basilica and Downtown Minneapolis.(FYI: The rooftop has a limited menu). Bonuses: –Accommodated our last minute reservation –Complimentary Valet with $ 59+ bill It’s safe to say that although this was our first visit to 4 Bells, it will most definitely not be our last!

I was so excited for dinner at 4 Bells! Everyone raves about this place, but I have a nut allergy which caused my night to be a disaster. I ordered the scallops and they came out covered in pecans. Pecans in the corn mixture the pancake was on, pecans on top of the scallops and the scallops are sautéed in a pecan butter. WTF. It doesn’t mention this horrifying item on the menu! The manager told me that all items in dishes aren’t on the menu and that they«rely on the servers to give details». She never apologized. In all my years of nut avoidance, I’ve never run into a situation like this. I will own my part in this — I failed to inform the server about my allergy. Years of experience has taught me 1. Nuts are always mentioned, and 2. Seafood generally is safe. In NOWAY am I blaming my server. I picked the pork chop as my replacement meal and it took so long for it to come out. I was told 3 more minutes at one point, but it was probably closer to 15 additional minutes before I received it. I took it home because my friends were finished eating by then. It was dry when I ate it later. I left hungry and disappointed.

What took me so long? I loved it. Everything about it. Food, service, atmosphere all spot on and perfect for our date night. We had a reservation but were running late and worried about parking. Never fear– free valet parking!(if you spend enough money, but we definitely did, haha) Got seated right away. I had some sort of tequila drank with egg whites that was divine. I knew what I wanted right away– the scallops. Server confirmed that it was a solid choice. We also got the chicken, the pimento mac n cheese, and the collard greens. Oh, and we started with oysters. Everything was great! It’s worth noting that he didn’t like the greens, but I did. My scallops were pretty much the best thing I have ever eaten– they came on a corn pancake with some sweet corn and bacon and some coffee maple syrup. Think chicken and waffles, only fancypants. We were so full, so no dessert. Service was great, food was quick, and the space is modern and pretty. Loved it. Go.

The service here was very slow, it took our server 20 minutes to come to our table. We were really tired, hungry, and ready to order. We started off with the baby octopus. There’s this green, stringy, curly vegetable thing in there-that I just don’t happen to know what it is, but it ruins the taste because it’s so bitter and the taste is so strong. Other than that, if you subtract that out, it’s ok. I just don’t think I was a fan of this. Then we had the seared scallops and the brick chicken. The seared scallops came on a buttermilk pancake that came with corn, bacon, and maple syrup. I’m going to have to say that I like this dish a lot better without the scallops. I think the pancake and everything on top of it is phenomenal, yet very sweet. I just can’t see where the scallops fit into it. The scallops alone, I felt like didn’t really have a taste but the texture was very good. The brick chicken was delicious, it had a light crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce? Thumbs up. Dessert, I got the brown derby pie. I’ll have to admit this is the lightest meringue I’ve ever had. It was SO good, it just melted on my tongue. The only downside to this pie, was that the crust was very thick. Hard to cut thick. Other than that, it was very good. Now, if you’re planning a trip here, just keep in mind that the prices here are a little pricier.
