Bait and switch. Stay away from this company. I needed my house’s locks rekeyed. Described the number and brand over the phone. Was quoted a price for the work. When the locksmith showed up(on time), the price jumped by a factor of four! I could have bought all new deadbolts and doorknobs for what they wanted to charge me. I went elsewhere; you should too.

My dog accidentally locked herself in the car because I was half a second too late to open the door. Was told starting price was 25 $. Was told it will take him 15 minutes to arrive, but 15 minutes later, they called saying they sent a guy out. He called saying he will arrive in 15 minutes, 22 minutes later, he arrived. Took him about 2 minutes to unlock the car door. I was charged 75 $ for this. With an extra 5 $ for using a card to pay. I say avoid this place if possible. Other places will charge for less.

DONOTUSE. I called from a neighbors because I accidently locked myself out my house. Over the phone I was quoted $ 19 service call fee and $ 35 house unlocking fee and that the service guy would arrive in less than 45. NINETY minutes and two phone calls later the service guy showed. He was East European/Russian. He opened my door in less than 3 minutes, When I asked«How much», he said $ 165 opening fee and $ 40 fee. He eventually backed down and charged me the still outrageous sum of $!20 on my CC. There were no license plates on his car. I immeadiately cancelled my CC, fearful, because he knew not only my name, address and phone number… but also had my CC number. DONOTUSE!

My experience was very similar to Mark W’s. The quoted response time was 30 minutes; the actual was over one hour. The service guy showed up in his personal car rather than a company vehicle. The amount of time taken to unlock my car was less than three minutes. The actual cost charged was 10 times what was quoted over the phone. When I asked the service person for the phone number to the company so I could complain, the number he gave did not answer and had a message saying vm not set up yet. He then gave me two more numbers and both times the person who answered said there was no service record for me. I called my credit card company immediately because I was worried about what amount was actually charged because I was given no cc receipt. The billing entity showed up as paypal rather than a legitmate company name. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY… very sketchy!!!

BEWARE! The Pricing as quoted on the phone is vague and in my experience inaccurate. I was told that the fee would be $ 29 for the service call. Additionally, there would be a $ 19 charge(or more) depending on the type of process required to override the lock out situation with my vehicle. Her Middle Eastern accent was very heavy and her English was broken. When the technician arrived he made very little eye contact and was expressionless. He inspected the car door and pulled out his billing invoice and presented it to me apparently for me to sign, saying«you present this to insurance.» There is no business address for 24⁄7 locksmiths and no names presented. In addition to the 29, he inserted $ 160 for a total of $ 189!!! I was not prepared for this. I explained what the receptionist had said. He told me to call her back. Then I placed a phone call and when I returned his new price was and inclusive $ 100. Still a shocking number for a «middle of the afternoon» job within 15 minutes of downtown Minneapolis. It’s was not a complicated case. He completed the work within 3 minutes, took his money and left. I called the other vendor recommended here on Unilocal and his price was $ 54.95. I hope I will not need to use this service again. Next time I will know better.
