Lots of canned veggies and frozen desserts. Chicken fried steak hits the buffet once every 30 minutes and only 10 pieces then. Fried chicken and catfish come out every 2 minutes.

We have eaten here several times. It is a good place for groups to eat that have varied appetites. A good selection of American, Mexican and Home cooking. It is worth a stop.

This was our first time there and it was very good. The buffet was well taken care of with plenty of food and the service was very good. My only complaint is they did not have hot water in the rest room to wash my hands.

Paredes is primarily a buffet, but you can also order from a menu or have bar food in the bar room. They have a great selection including a great selection of Mexican food. The Chili Rellenos are very good there.

I’ve honestly never liked this place. It tastes like it went straight from the freezer to the buffet. Not bad if you want to load up on a bunch of food. But meh.

We have been coming here for a while. Buffet is well stocked with a variety of Mexican, American, and a whole section of hearty Southern inspired comfort foods. Salad bar is small and they have a decent selection of classic desserts, including bread pudding and pecan pie. The menu is available for steaks and other favorites for those that prefer to order off the menu. Finally, they have a fully stocked bar. Daily happy hour specials, well and call drinks are available. Oh yes, they serve booze on Sunday!

My grandparents live closer to this area and my husband and I love this place. Especially the Chile Rellno(which you generally have to order off the menu, but sometimes they have it on the buffet). I could probably eat an entire quart of their guacamole myself, delicious flautas, menudo(when available) and their Mexican casserole is so freaking good!!! I generally only come here for Mexican food, so I can’t make too much of an opinion about the American food-although they seem to have a good selection. The desserts are good, I particularly enjoy the custard. They also serve your beverage in a huge glass, perfect for not needing refills all the time — especially for my husband who has a small esophagus and must drink a lot. Also, the staff is always friendly and service is always prompt. Definitely worth the price in my opinion — which is a bargain in itself.

I didn’t eat in the restaurant. Me and some friends went into the bar in the back for a couple beers. Nice place. Very small bar area, drinks are a bit expensive. They over charged us on the special for the day. Good thing we caught it. Took her going to the front of the restaurant to get the bill fixed. Thought it was weird that she would leave the bar unattended. Anyways, not bad, not great. But about the only place to get a beer.

Buffett was good but the fish, new potatoes & corn were cold. Fried chicken & livers were crispy & hot. Desserts were hot & excellent. Since we were there at noon, thought food would be better. Wait staff were prompt & courteous.

Really amazing Tex-Mex/American buffet. Try the smokehouse burger(tell them you want pepperjack cheese). Their house barbecue sauce makes this burger worth the trip. Many menu items are on the buffet, so you may want to ask before ordering off the menu.
