We have ate here several times. Not a large selection of dishes but they have the regular chinese-american foods like sesame chicken, broccoli and beef and pork skewers. The food has always been hot and fresh during the lunch and dinner times. For this small town it will do for someone wanting chinese but there are better choices in Tyler.

We have been coming here about once a month for two years. Panda Buffet presents a predictable cuisine on the serving line during the day and add some more exotic faire for the evening meal. The buffet line is hot and fresh during lunchtime and dinnertime; however, we have found it a bit stale between 2 and 4ish. One cannot complain, especially since two can dine for a little over 20 bucks(plus drinks). Served buffet style, this is easily a four or five course meal. I like soups first, and they have three or four on the line at all times, plus there is a whole tray of boiled shrimp. Next, noodles and two kinds of rice… all hot and fresh. Add egg roll, barbeque pork, different versions of chicken, beef, pork,(squid, crawfish, and salmon after 5) can easily fill more plates. Finally, desserts are all over the serving line. Cookies, puddings, fruits, cakes, jello, and ice creams will finish the meal. This is a family run restaurant. The staff is courteous and quickly attends to each customer, removing dishes and ensuring drinks are full. Relax and enjoy authentic Chinese-American dining with true Southern hospitality.

Panda Buffet offers a large selection of Chinese food along with extras such as frog legs, shrimp and a grill where they will cook whatever you select similar to a Ghengis Grill all for one low price. It’s run by an Asian family who are always very pleasant and welcoming. They also have a small selection of sushi in the buffet. The building is older, but they seem to keep it very clean.
