Huge portions but quality is not great. Even their hamburger has thick chunks of gristle in them. No thanks.

First of all, this place is solid and has good prices, though they have been raising them lately. It is still pretty good for folks on a budget though. Let’s start with the good. They have one of the best bean and cheese burritos around. I know that is kind of an interesting thing to be stoked on, but sometimes you’re just craving a bean and chee. This place does it perfect. They also have delicious, fresh taquitos that come with guac. Highly recommend both items. The only reason I am deducting a star, is because their tacos, specifically their meat, truly has no flavor. I’m not sure if this is on purpose or not, because they do have quite a few delicious things. My suggestion if you do get a meat item, is to make sure you get plenty of hot sauce & salsa of all varieties to flavor it up a bit. You do get your money’s worth on the portions and they do have a drive thru. I do recommend going here, but the items you least expect, are some of the most delicious. For example, the wildcard: chilli cheese fries. Bomb, & at a Mexican restaurant. But their tacos, just ok. Strange, but there are good things to be had. Check out their pictures before you order and definitely get the bean and chee, even if you just save it for later.

Holy Moley is this place awesome! Not only is it very affordable, but the portions are HUGE! Super yummy food with great service. They are also open later then most burritos places, so that is a huge plus!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Burritos are huge and very filling for the price. Great food for great price. Perfect match!

I gave it three tries. First burrito was dry, mostly a tough, rubbery sort of beef. The salsas were heavy on water. The Second try seemed like meat. But, There was an entire oily pickled jalapeño in mine– whole! My Third try tonight I tried the chicken fajita burrito and my hands smelled like tuna fish after the bottom of the soggy thing collapsed on my tray. I think the«chicken» was canned. Will NOT return. Cook was dripping sweat so profusely I thought it may end up in my dinner :(

Food is ok. I just felt not comportable there due to bad reasons. Well its the cooks. When they see me they make my food wrong. If i stay in car they do it right when my gf goes in its cool. But come on guys give me a break. I rather go to taco bell were they dont discriminate against me for being me, with a certain type of girl due to race. This is why. Thing are the way they are. Never fails. I started making my own food at home.

Really good burritos. I never feel bad or lethargic after eating them. Quality steak in it. Only down side is you will wait 20 minutes for them to make a Damm burrito! Takes forever.

The #1 is the #1 breakfast burrito that I’ve had that I did not make myself! The green and red spicy salsas are both fantastic.

Quite honestly the best mexican food for fast food I’ve found. tastes very authentic, huge portions, always piping hot, never a long wait in the drive-thru. Love their crispy shredded beef tacos, filled with shredded cheddar cheese and tomatos. Believe it or not its one of the best cheeseburger stops around. I substitute the special sauce out for mayonnaise for perfection!

Sorry guys. Pastor in soupy sauce? WTF? Really, there was NOTHING done right on the food I was served, carne asada and pastor tacos. The«dead meat» aftertaste in my mouth as I left the restaurant did it. Just wrong!

Stopped in at Super Burrito Express to try their tacos. I got my two«benchmark» meats that I always order to judge all Mexican tacquerias: al pastor and carnitas. The al pastor taco was good, with the savory flavor that al pastor is supposed to have. I liked it. The carnitas taco had guacamole and diced tomato in it, which was nice, but the meat was a bit bland and the taco ingredients were wet and«runny» so I had to eat it with a fork. The al pastor is clearly my preferred choice at this place.

After a few bad Portland-area ‘Mexican food’ experiences, a burrito from Super Burrito Express comforted my Californian heart. There’s probably some other place hiding from me that has even better Mexican grub, but for now SBE& their salsa bar are keeping my messy-homestyle-burrito cravings satisfied. I love this place for feeling like home.

I LOVESUPERBURRITOEXPRESS. Our little family frequents this establishment. My husband enjoys trying different things from the menu. My 18 month old loves the Rice & Beans. I praise their shredded beef soft taco… it is heaven in your mouth! Lol! The food is ALWAYS consistent, and the staff is always friendly. This place was recommended to us by a friend of my husband, and I’m glad she mentioned it to us. Thank you, Tia!

A solid 4. Cheap prices, big portions, good taste. Nothing amazing(hence the cheap cost), but good. I got the fish tacos($ 2.50 apiece) this time and liked the size and cost. The one drawback for the fish tacos were tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese, not like classic fish tacos at other places with cilantro and the white sauce. But I’ll request it next time.

This place is surprisingly pretty good. From the exterior and location you expect more of a muchas gracias burrito bomb but what you get is some tasty food. I stick to the chicken tacos when I come here and the chicken comes shredded but in nice thick pieces, there’s guac, some flavorful salsa. It’s exactly what I need it to be. This place is still a fast food mexican joint in a Safeway parking lot so don’t come here expecting to get anything that is remotely authentic. Just know that your food will taste good and it is higher quality than going to Muchas Gracias or Taco Time.
