Employees need to smile. Horrible customer service. Need to stop going to this Subway. Always disappointed

The first two visits here(weekday lunchtime) were average, today’s(Saturday) experience was poor. The young woman shortchanged the turkey, seemed put upon by being asked to toast the bread(which was not really done), and overall seemed to be glad that her job stopped interrupting her conversation. She couldn’t even be bothered with napkins. I think I would be better off getting lunch at 7 – 11 and avoiding the aggravation!

This is the cleanest Subway around! They really take pride in keeping it clean and I notice! I go out of my way to go to this location over others!

So the owner of this Subway has decided they will NOT except Subway national coupons. If a dollar and fifty cents on a coupon that comes out only a couple of times a year on a 12 inch sub is going to make or break your business, you obviously don’t need mine.

While some have turned to the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda for self realization, my knowledge of the soul has come from a recent trip to a local Subway. It was during this recent venture to the new neighborhood sandwich purveyor that I realized I have morphed from a fun loving, young whippersnapper into a crotchety old man. As the Tall Leggy Blonde and I waited in a line that was way too long for an assembly line sandwich, we watched in amazement as the two boys behind the counter attempted to deal with the influx of new customers while entertaining and joking with friends that were in the store. When the phrase, «They need some supervision» was uttered from our lips, I knew we were no longer young and cool, but had reached a new level of maturity and crankiness. Sure, I remember the days of summer jobs, trying to make a couple of bucks to pay for movies, dates and illegal alcohol consumption. Yet, on this day my patience was thin, and I was not in the mood to witness the shenanigans and jocularity behind the counter… I wanted my sandwich, dammit, and I wanted it now. This is a brand new location, and I must say I was impressed with the interior. As the only fast food vendor within walking distance, I was excited to check out this new store. Sandwiches were good, service could be improved. I did laugh as the one kid mentioned how busy it was and how he needed a «break». Oh, youngster, this is just the beginning… welcome to the wonderful adult world of work. You better get use to it.
