Dusty Tiger is named after a huge and beautiful glass tiger right inside protecting the shop, though the owners love hunters, of antiques of course. It’s not a very big place but it’s very clean, organized, and full of those glass cases that I usually hate. I hate them because it’s a pain to have to constantly ask workers to open them so I can peruse all the items inside. Usually you have to walk all the way to the front of a huge antique mall to find anyone and then you have to wait around until they get the right key. After that, they stand there in ceremony, in case you might steal something as you try and focus on the items vs. feeling a little awkward about that whole setup. Or maybe it’s just me. At any rate, this place is small enough that you can get their attention very quickly and they are very gracious about opening up cases. After all, that’s how they make their money. I managed to find a few items that were reasonably priced as well as quality antique vs. faux. PS — I added their blog website but it still has their old address. just a heads up(and has never been reviewed either way).
