Bob is often here, walking around, checking on his patrons, and I like that. He is proud of his brand, and the food they make is excellent. I love the lunch sandwiches, and the pasta salad is amazing. Eat the whole grain chips!!!

This place is great. I love the biscuits, country ham, grits, and spinach. Food is very fresh and made well. Staff is superb. Coffee is average I gave them only 4 stars because they’re closed Sunday.(I went here without checking) apparently I wasn’t alone. Two other cars pulled up and we all left with sad faces.

Bob’s Red Mill makes excellent natural and organic retail products. Previously, they also had a prosperous and inviting restaurant business. The food was good, the staff was warm and friendly and the hours were accommodating. At that point I would have given Bob’s Red Mill 4 stars(considering the warm coffee is terrible, especially for being in Portland). We used to visit Bob’s at least 2 times a month for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A couple of weeks ago, we pulled up to Bob’s because I was hankering the beef strip blue cheese salad for dinner. Much to our surprise… Bob’s was CLOSED! What happened to the dinner hours?! We’ve been talking about what a disappointment that was since it happened. Today,(Saturday) we went in for lunch at 2:50. Second disappointment in less than a month. Lunch ends at 3 but the store closes at 6. Dang it!

Everything is great in Bob’s Red Mill. I love everything and I’ll eat everything they have in their menu in their restaurant, but my favorite is the Vegetarian Mushroom Burger. The prices are affordable. Can’t wait to come back here to shop and of course, to eat. Kudos Bob’s Red Mill, you guys are awesome.

What’s not to love! Family atmosphere, comfort food, and GREAT prices. The biscuits and heavy is TODIEFOR. If you like their products in the grocery store, you’ll love their restaurant and staff. They appear to have a standard for their employees and they all just seem so bubbley and nice. Bravo Bobs. Bravo

The store is awesome. I went with my boyfriend and found a bunch of different flours on sale for super cheap. We also bought some of their cookies which were delicious. I’ve eaten there a few times, always getting the biscuits and gravy. ITISSOGOOD. And so filling. And so cheap. It was very busy the last time I went, but the food was still served in a surprisingly timely manner.

Bob’s Red Mill is a great place to be. They have a store, a restaurant and a factory, all on-site. Pastries, breads, cooking materials, refrigerated items, frozen items and more can all be found here. This is a tad out of the way. They have a firm command on the foods under their production. I went here around dinnertime. I got a scone and a chocolate milk for less than three dollars. The scone had a depth of flavor and was a pleasure to eat. They have seating inside and outside. A pasta salad afterwards was only ninety-five cents. It is a festive place with such quality at low prices. Some of the products sold here are made by them, while others are not. Bob’s Red Mill is practically a gift to consumers.

I came in not knowing they do not serve dinner anymore. Rob still heated up some soup and gave me a dinner roll as extra! Even carried the food out for me! Super friendly, professional people that made the holiday season that much more special! Thanks Rob!

My parents had visited and raved about the food and service and the store. I had downplayed their excitement but now I will rave. This was a beautiful way to start out Saturday. We had steak and eggs which I can highly recommend. Steel cut oats with all the fixings. A buckwheat pancake which reminded me of my grandmothers kitchen. And to top it off a hazelnut and cranberry scone which I regret not buy a few of for the road. You order downstairs and select a seating area either up or down and then they deliver your delicious food. The staff was friendly and helpful. While we were eating a manager made his way around bussing tables and talking with customers! Then we shopped I bought things I didn’t know I needed but after seeing them I knew I did! The selection was mind boggling. And they have recipes to help you explore every product. I will be back!

Great fun at Bob’s red Mill today. Excellent breakfast. Today’s choice was biscuits engraving. Excellent. Plus we’re here might as well get all her baking needs for the next year. Or I guess it is the holiday season getting ready for that baking as well. One of the cool things is the granite millstones out front. It says they were made in 1880. You can tell because you can count the rings. Great fun

The last place for affordable yummy brunch in my opinion. You know, bar prices but family restaurant atmosphere? I hope that never changes. Wonderful service and they have great accommodations for dietary needs/allergies, and they finally put pork bacon on the menu(they only had turkey for the longest time)! Make this your first stop if you are moving towards cooking«whole unprocessed foods.» remember that they sell almost everything in bulk, a great cost savings if you already know how to cook dry beans, or know the cake mix recipe by heart, etc. Also a great place for food storage options. Love me those gamma lids!

This is a great place to take visitors, enjoy a casual(and delicious) meal, or stock up on high quality baking items. My favorite is the bulk area, less expensive than packaged and great for filling containers in your kitchen for flour, sugar, etc. I especially love their wide variety of oat meal, especially the Scottish Oatmeal. Pro tip! You can get a buy one get one for ½ off coupon here:

I’ve been going to Bob’s Red Mill since I was little. After moving away from Clackamas and Oregon, I was so excited to find Bob’s Red Mill products on the other side of the country. I’m so proud of this place! This location is a customer-facing market and restaurant. It’s a bit out of the way, on Highway 224 between Milwaukie and Clackamas. It maybe could be worked into a drive between Portland and Mt Hood or Clackamas. As expected, they have a ton of Bob’s Red Mill products. It’s high quality, natural, whole grain awesomeness. There’s a standard-sized selection of other bulk nuts/fruits/etc. It’s not as huge as I remember it was back when I was a kid — I think they move more of their products into the pre-packaged section. Or maybe it just looked bigger when I was little! They have a restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Don’t expect those wacky, creative foods you get at the trendy restaurants closer to downtown. Bob’s Red Mill restaurant has healthy and wholesome versions of American diner food: healthy pancakes(a little too heavy for me), omelets, sandwiches, chili. I love their black bean chips that come with the sandwiches. They also have a vegetarian menu. Their baked goods section is especially tasty. My favorite is their vegan oatmeal craisin cookies. They also(at least used to?) have a cheesy/vegetable/bread loaf, which is a tasty savory snack. It’s a really nice space. There is seating on the first floor, outside near a fountain(and the highway), and my favorite, on the second floor overlooking the market. Often, you’ll see Bob himself here! Super cool!

Yes! Yes! and Yes! Bob’s is awesome. They have packaged foods and bulk options. That literally makes me giddy. Came here only needed a couple of things(mostly I wanted to check out the store) and left with a basket full. Their breads are awesome too. I think we got rosemary rolls? Oh ya. Didn’t actually eat here, not sure I could as a vegan. I should pay more attention, sorry. But with all the goodies I was easily distracted. They have some great storage options there as well, I just wish it wasn’t all plastic. Boo. I think Bob’s will likely become a staple stop on our bi-monthly visits to Milwaukie.

I like a lot of Bob’s products and this location with the restaurant and store is very nice. It gets very busy here on the weekends but the service is quick. It is a order and take a number establishment but there is ample seating. The food portions are very large which is nice. The food itself is good, but not great. Good family environment. We go here sometimes but as far as breakfast spots in the area I go elsewhere when showing Portland’s food off.

To be completely honest, I was a little disappointed with my meal. We were there around breakfast time so the choices were limited. I ordered the vegetarian omelet and added ham, along with a biscuit, and grits. The egg to vegetable ratio was ridiculous, the super thin layer of egg was also watered down and didn’t have much spice or even salt. The grits were also on the tasteless side. The biscuit was pretty good, and the portions were a lot bigger than we originally thought. Overall, the service was speedy but the food could have been better. I rather wait longer and have a great meal.

First off, I want to thank Unilocal for leading me to this amazing place. Had I known about it, it would have been my dream to come here. I feel like I’ve won the lottery! Gluten free options galore. Friendly staff. You can tell that every single employee here CARES. You can also taste it. Breakfast was amazing. They also have lunch, a retail store and you can even take a tour of the mill!!! So cool. Come check it out! It is worth ANY amount of driving. SERIOUSLY!

Cheap price for quality grains, the best vegan marionberry scone I’ve ever had(one of the best vegan scones, ever), and the most friendly service. For a better price on grains, I recommend going to the bulk section. I need to try their breakfast menu(ends at 3pm). Also, stop by Dave’s Killer Bread across the street – you won’t regret it!

Time, she takes a toll on us all, don’t she? Well Bob, the luster has dulled, along with your great breakfast. It’s still a great market though! They have all of the fantastically healthy grains and such plus baking hardware galore. Perhaps what has faded most is my taste for mediocre food and eating in Portland can ruin a person to the extent that my taste buds will no longer be dazzled by anything less than fantastic. For example I have had both the buckwheat and the buttermilk pancakes here back to back weekends and both were just dense and lacking in flavor. In fact the buckwheat kind of tasted like fake chocolate. It’s still a cool place to visit and even have a meal though! It’s not you Bob, it’s I that have changed and I’m moving on. Cheers!

Quality products and a HUGE selection at great prices. I’ve had breakfast and lunch here a few times, and it’s pretty good but a leans little too much on the«healthy» side for me. That being said, it’s not easy to find good grits(or someone who knows what grits are) around here, so at least there is some unhealthy comfort food to be had. The bulk foods though, puts any other store to shame! I browsed for over an hour and still didn’t get to see everything because my carpool was getting fed up with waiting. They have recipes for all their bulk items, conveniently on stickers so you can attach them to the bag instead of losing them before you get home. As other reviewers have mentioned, the parking truly does suck. They should probably put a sign out when the lot is full. We managed to snag the only available space in the lot, much to the chagrin of about a dozen other would-be customers.
