Ultimate Sun

I’m not usually a fan of tanning, but before a tropical vacation my choices are fake bake or burn in said tropical location. I opted for a pre-​tan to avoid a sunburn. The staff at Ultimate Sun are all very friendly. The place is super clean, and I felt the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of street parking, but it is located across from UWM, so I suppose it could be hard to find during school hours. My only compliant is that you buy sessions, not minutes. I will definitely return before my next tropical vacation.

I just got an airbrush tan done by Sini and she is fabulous! From start to finish she made me feel so comfortable and explained everything that was happening and aftercare instructions. She worked so fast I was in and out within 10 minutes and my color looks perfect! I would recommend Ultimate Sun to anyone who is looking for a quality airbrush tan, I know I will definitely be going back!

Sini (the owner) and most of her staff are amazing; they make you feel like welcomed family. Sini takes such pride in this place, and she has some of the best customer service I have ever come across. You’ll come to know her, and her pet dog, like they’re friends. With Sini I could walk in, say hello, and she’d immediately be guessing at what tanning bed I’d want and for how long. She even went out of her way to help me get a nicer tan for my 21^st birthday. To me, Sini was always a big part of what made Ultimate Sun different. Her staff (college girls) were always very friendly too, but they never bothered to get to know me on a personal level, or even learn my name for check-​in purposes. Overall tho it’s been a great experience. I’ve since moved across the country, but I miss tanning at US.
I did have one bad experience there. Not Sini’s fault, but a moth got into my tanning bed late one night. If you can imagine a moth suddenly darting around inside a tanning bed while your in it, you know how startling that would be. I explained to the front desk staff why I wanted a different bed, and why I’d like to leave my original bed running, since the moth was moving too quickly and was still out of my reach. Instead of making any attempt to get rid of the moth, they just kind of shrugged it off and assigned me a new bed. Then, while I was still in the building, I could hear them laughing and talking about me… I could see where a moth darting around a tanning bed would be a funny mental image, but hello ladies, paper thin walls! I heard every word. …I hope the moth went after them while tanning after close ;-)

Very nice suntanning salon. Front desk is super friendly. Very clean location, it s a awesome studio with a lot of suntanning beds. Prices are good and depend on how many times you want to go tanning. They have the newest Mystic Machine I saw. The only down part of the business is the bad parking. If parking would be better I would give a 5 star

I have been coming to Ultimate Sun for the past 5 years and refuse to go elsewhere. Packages are reasonable and there is always deals on lotions. The owner, Sini, is another reason why I come back. She warms up your day and always has something funny to say. The rest of the staff is just as sweet (especially Emma) and they always share good recommendations. I highly reccommend Ultimate Sun and it’s conveniently located right on UWMs campus.

That’s the only reason I just wanted to share that If you go there beware!!! I bought a single session in their best bed they offered and it literally Burned my back!!!

I LOVE tanning at Ultimate Sun! Everytime I walk in the door I feel welcome and know that I will leave feeling great. The student discount that is offered is amazing; $ 35 for a month of unlimited tanning in the level I beds. Being so close to UWM there is a lot of traffic from students, so wait times can be a little long, but definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and it is always clean. U.S. carries a variety of lotions from Designer Skin which is the best line in tanning products. I have tanned at other salons in Milwaukee, but U.S. is by far #1. Go.
