Throughout my pregnancy I have stopped here numerous times and have bought some big ticket items that were in like new shape, along with a bunch of like new brand name baby clothing. Helpful, friendly staff, who know who I am when I come in. I have gotten some amazing deals here, especially durning their sales. I really love that they share new arrivals with me before they are even purchased, which some places get weird about. I love living right by this gem in Tosa and have referred many friends here who feel the same. Only one small critique would be that if there is a kid emergency to go to the bathroom they send you to YoMama. Kinda annoying when you and your friend are dropping a couple hundred dollars. All and all love this place.

I just want to start by saying that I DID love this shop! It is not far from my house and I have visited it several times, never without making a purchase. However, on my last visit, my 2 year old decided she had to go to the bathroom, and it was urgent. While making a purchase, I asked if she could use their bathroom and I was told no, that we would have to go to Starbucks or Yo Mama across the street. I have worked in retail and understand that you don’t always consider your store restroom to be a public restroom. But we never turned a child away who needed to go. This is a children’s store that would not allow a child whose parent was making a purchase from their store to use the bathroom? I’m sorry, but know your audience, we will never return to this store again. I would rather drive the extra time and go to they Grow Like Weeds in Greendale.

I stumbled into the store on my latest visit during summer clearance and picked up a bunch of great stuff– some Oshkosh 12mo rugby shirts, baby gap pants– for $ 1.99 each. Total score! The women who run this store are super friendly and really know what they’re doing. This shop has more of the upscale names than the other second-hand baby shops in the area, and while its selection is smaller that OUaB or Playroom Closet, the stuff is definitely better quality. Prices really aren’t that much higher than the other shops, either. They carry hand-selected baby and kid’s clothes along with cribs, strollers, shoes, toys, and some items handmade by the owner’s daughter or neighboring crafty ladies. There’s a basket full of bagged onesies and sleepers that are a great deal– don’t miss it.
