JoLinda you have saved me. With the closing of River Lane Inn I was desperate to find a place that had and knew what to do with soft shell crabs. My wife and I haven’t been to your place in awhile but when I checked your Facebook page I saw that soft shell were available. You were a wizard with those critters when you ran the kitchen at River Lane. I’m going to have to check your Facebook page daily. Thank you!

Quaint place always with a unique menu… They have daily specials and the menu is constantly changing. I hadn’t been there for years and actually forgot what the name was but when other plans fell through it was recommended to go here and we ordered a ton of appetizers and were even too full for dessert! The Thursday specials are amazing and I will have to bring my fiancé back for the half pound burger!

Triskele’s is really striving to be a cool, warm, inviting place in the ever growing Walkers Point restaurant space, but alas it leaves much to be desired. My main point of contention is the food, it was just simply not good. I had the gnocchi and my partner had the mac and cheese, both sub-par and quite small. By reading the room I could tell there are some regulars for this place, but I am just not one of them. I would choose the next restaurant.

I had Mom out Saturday night for a Mothers Day dinner here and we left not only full, but super happy with the meal we had. The food was incredible. I had the Chicken Sausage and Gnocci, Mom had the Mahi, and Dad had a burger. I loved my dish — it had wonderful fennel flavours, the chicken sausage was light and in a rich creamy sauce that really complimented the gnocci. Mom’s Mahi was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The truffle fries she had with them were excellent! Dad’s burger, cooked perfectly to order, left him a happy man — and he is hard to please. We had great service and an overall wonderful dining experience.

Triskele’s! Amazing. Hands down a totally great experience. I would be confident in saying that this is one of, if not my new favorite burger places. Not to mention their crazy-good happy hour deal: $ 5 ½ burgers & $ 3-$ 5 draft beers. Um, yes please. We were actually recommended to try this place out from an Über driver we had a few weekends ago… totally great call! I would go back here every day for a burger, if it wouldn’t kill me. Totally worth it. And, add the spiced fries for $ 2, you won’t regret it. We will for sure be back for burgers or to try some of the popular Mac N Cheese. See you there!

Triskele’s is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Milwaukee in a long time. Located on the far south end of Walker’s Point, I didn’t even know it existed until a friend mentioned they had vegetarian friendly dishes. We showed up around 8:30 on a Saturday night. They weren’t very busy, I imagine since it was post-dinner rush when we arrived. They have an open kitchen concept, and you can see what’s going on behind the bar and in the kitchen — which I appreciate. The place itself it clean, with a neat jazzy vibe to it. Lot’s of artwork on the walls, blast from the past styled music. Service was great — present, but not overly present. We always had enough water and refills for our drinks. THEYHAVE $ 5SANGRIA, WHICHIS A TOTALSTEAL! Now, the best part: the food. I ordered their squash ravioli. It is BYFAR the best ravioli I have ever tasted, and I’m a huge ravioli fan. I believe there was a brown sugar sauce on top and it was impeccable. I can’t get over how outstanding the flavors in that dish were. I know everyone else at the table also enjoyed their dishes(their burger, the pot pie). We will ABSOLUTELYBEBACK!

Casual place with unexpected great seafood stew! Man! I ate the whole thing without a drop left! The mussels in it are the best tasting mussels I ever had in stew! And the shrimps are soft and juicy, and big in size. Yummy yum!

My husband & I came here because someone my husband knows recommended it. We just happened to show up on a Thursday night, where they had $ 5 appetizers. We tried various things on the menu(of course, all of them being appetizers). They were all very good. The second time we showed up, the menu had changed — They also had some specials. Again, the food was delicious. One time, I ordered the Mac & Cheese with sausage. It was some of the best Mac & Cheese I have had ever had. Service was great and very attentive. We will be back!

MAC N CHEEEEEEZ. It’s really, really good. You can get it with all the cheeses listed, and I’d totally recommend it that way. There’s some nice crusty bits on the top… mmmm…crusty bits. Grab it during happy hour for a steal, and even BETTER, pair it with AYCE $ 8 mussels on a Tuesday night. Broth flavors rotate & they always post them on Facebook so you can plan accordingly for maximum mussel enjoyment. Mussels come with a bread basket and happy hour prices(before 6) are nice on wine and draft beers. There’s a $ 5 burger on the happy hour menu, too, which was pretty tasty the one time I sampled it. Triskele’s is cozy and friendly and a great spot for a date or with friends — some larger tables are open in the back! Get thee here, just not all at once so I can still get my spot… thanks.

This place is like a warm blanket. Friendly people, nice atmosphere. AYCE Muscles on Tuesdays. Mac n cheese happy hour. A constantly changing menu of interesting tasty bits. I dig the whole vibe, and I love that it’s a small hidden jem. Stay gold, Triskele’s.

Such a solid place for Mac and cheese(special price before 6) and also mussels on a Tuesday! Happy hour Tues — Thurs where you can get a discount on burgers and that awesome Mac n cheese I mentioned. Also house wine 2−4−1. The menu is succinct(as it should be) and has a vegetarian section. I am surprised that they don’t have ciders or Estrella Daura GF beer, especially with the gluten free Mac n cheese option(that tastes great and just as good as the regular pasta — BTW). The location so unassuming, only a true Milwaukeean would know. Triskeles — a solid.

I’m coming back! Service was fantastic. I had their mac and cheese speciality as gluten-free and it was fantastic. I will definitely have it again. It could use a bit of updating in the decoration but that was about it.

It’s a swanky dive bar and bistro. Super friendly staff, but the service was a bit disheveled. Food was good, but if you love mussels it is a must go for the $ 8 all you can eat Tuesday night special. I am on the fence about mussels myself, but overall I ordered three rounds. The sauce itself was delicious, but the actual mussels were cold to room temperature when they arrived. Like I said, I don’t eat mussels often so I don’t know if that is the norm. I also ordered a side of Mac n cheese and it was good too. Everything was good, but just good so I’m not sure if I’ll go back.

Talk about a great happy hour! I love it when spots have a good food happy hour offering, and Triskeles definitely has that. They offer $ 5 ½ pound burgers and $ 6.95 macaroni and cheese Tue-Fri happy hour, along with great drink specials. I highly recommend getting a burger with the goat cheese, it was cooked to perfection and the goat cheese is great. Go for all three cheeses when you get the mac n cheese, we are in Wisconsin after all. Cozy atmosphere and great service all around, this is a truly hidden gem in the Walker’s Point/almost Bay View neighborhood, no seriously, it’s in a neighborhood on a corner, you’ll need to now where you’re going to find it.

Wow… eight years they have been in business and I feel so bad that I have not written a review yet about Triskele’s. This has always been a hidden gem for me tucked away between Bay View and Walker’s Point. The ladies running Triskele’s are some of the hardest working owners you will find. Tuesday is probably the best night at Triskele’s if you LOVE mussels. Who can resist AYCE mussels for $ 8? You can choose between two preparations and alternate between both. I had the Thai coconut curry and it was just the right heat with a sauce that you wanted to lick off the bowl. The AYCE mussels comes with a small bread basket with delicious salted butter. A couple of mussels had a slight grit to them but overall most were delicious. My hubby had the garlic broth mussels and it was tasty but not as good as the Thai. If you aren’t into the whole mussel thing then another great deal is the Thursday $ 5 appetizers. Their buttermilk calamari is cooked crisp without any rubbery texture and served with deep fried spinach leaves on top. The spinach adds the perfect element along with the citrus aioli. It rates as one of the top fried calamari I have ever ordered. Another crowd favorite is their mac n’ cheese which is probably one of the better mac n’ cheese in Milwaukee. The serving portions are generous and the sauce is very creamy… I would hate to know how many calories are in this sumptuous dish. Typically I roll with goat cheese and cheddar and sometimes add chicken if I am in the mood. For summer they just added the sautéed spaetzle and vidalia onions in garlicky mushroom broth with fresh spinach, tomatoes and shaved Pecorino-Romano dish that sounds AMAZING. Next trip I am going to give this a try. I have tried their wings that some people rave about but I wasn’t into the taste when I tried them. They had a weird dusting of flavoring that didn’t appeal to me but to each their own. Typically we have great service but a couple of times we were let down but in general it is good. We find that service at the bar tends to be slightly more attentive. Remember that this is a small place with a small kitchen. Triskele’s is a little off the beaten path but is worth checking out.

What a cute corner place!!! The menu has a nice variety. Beer list was good too. We arrived at 5:30. The service though out was a little slow. I had the seafood stew as recommended by our server. The mussels were a bit tuff, fish and shrimp portions were very small and the plates looked boring. My friend had the mac and cheese with chicken. That was ok. The chicken was way over cooked and dry. It’s pricy for the quality of food. The place is cute but the food lacks. Maybe I will try it again to see if my review can change for next time.

This was one of those«I’m really torn at how to rate Triskelies», so I gave them a 4 because they were on the upper half of a 3. Went in for their Famous AYCE Mussels. At arrival, we had to wait for friends to join us so we waited at the bar. I had a sangria and my boyfriend had a brandy old fashioned. The Sangria was nice, good taste and refreshing. Like most sangrias, it isn’t loaded with fruit(that’s a bonus for me). The bartender was really friendly and really helpful(we discussed the menu and she gave great recommendations– she actually sold us on the Mac n cheese). Once our friends arrived, we chose to move to a table. The place is small, but comfy and had great artwork. We were quickly greeted by our waitress and all 4 ordered the mussel special. They always offer two favors for the special, tonight was a creamy caramelized onion and the other black Bavarian shallot. We also decided to order a side of Mac n cheese to share. The first round of mussels and Mac took about 20+ to arrive. Although I was getting really hungry, the food arrived and was hot and fresh. The Mac n cheese was thick and delicious, but… Salty. The mussels were about a half pound serving and were large. Both flavors were delicious, especially the caramelized onion. We knew that we should order the second round right away, when we placed that order we were informed that after that, they were out of mussels for the night… Wait, whaaaat? Because we ordered the Mac n cheese, I was full, but I would have been miffed if I hadn’t been. Concerns me for my next trip. I know I will be back, but with the threat of running out of mussels, I may order off the regular menu, just to be safe.

After one visit I’m ready to put Triskele’s up in my MKE top five favorite restaurants. Haven’t identified the other four officially BUTTHEPOINTIS Triskele’s is so good, so many different ways. This place is cute. It’s tiny and cozy and nicely decorated but unpretentious. When I was there on a Tuesday night for all you can eat mussels, it also seemed like only a handful of people were running the joint – waitresses doubling as hostesses and bartenders – but even without a huge staff, they ran a tight ship. Super impressed with our awesome waitress who managed to be exceptionally helpful, friendly and attentive, even while doing a million other things at once for all her other tables. Can’t say enough about how good the service was. Okay but the food: AYCE mussels were flavorful, plentiful and so cheap. Go try it for yourself(but make a reservation). I also had the mac & cheese with all three cheeses and andouille, and it was a truly religious cheese experience. Didn’t try any cocktails but I will next time — hopefully during the happy hour, which I hear is great. Already excited to come back!

Keeping it real up in this(MKE) piece can be a tedious, teeter totter-esque task. Update those reviews, people! Do you still really believe what you said about that one place in 2011? Maybe you do. Then again, maybe you don’t. After our most recent visit to Triskele’s featuring four drinks(one glass of wine/three cocktails), an absolutely incredible bowl of cauliflower/brussels sprout soup, a small Cesar salad, chili spice fries and pork shoulder enchiladas, I’m rocking it to four stars. I believe a four is where Triskele’s shall stay henceforth and forevermore in my book… maybe, probably. Let me be clear here: four stars = awesome.(Anyone who thinks otherwise is dead wrong. Four is great.) Every good thing I said about this lovely and unassuming little joint still stands. The food is good, the people are very nice. I’d be remiss not to mention, however, that last go around felt a little lackluster to me. The price points for what we ordered and received seemed a touch high overall, and I wasn’t blown away or even really that into anything this past visit save for my soup. My god, that soup. I really really like Triskele’s, but I gots to keep it(respectfully) real.(That’s what Unilocal’s all about, isn’t it?)
