Place was overcrowded. Bathrooms were uncleanly with urine sprayed everywhere beside the urinal. Bouncers were on a power trip shoving innocent patrons who were assumed to be wearing«improper attire.» Don’t go here.

Looking for Irish food? Get the Reuben rolls and enjoy a Skyy bomb. This restaurant group knows what they are doing and their establishments. Jessie and Greg are great managers.

I stopped in as it seemed like such a great time. The patio area was so much fun and lively. I cannot review food as I only had liquor. It gets packed quick and we go lucky to find a table. I will definitely try this place again if I am ever in the area again.

Came here for my 21st birthday and I liked this place. Lots of seating, very open, great drinks and clean bathroom.

It’s okay if you go during the day… not too many people. The last time for lunch my friend and I were the only people there. Food was just ok, nothing spectacular. Bartender would disappear often and had a bit of a smug attitude, the manager was cool though and struck up a conversation. Night time is way different, especially Friday and Saturday night. I wouldn’t pick this place for a night out but if I’m in a group and they want to go there I’ll put up with it as best I can. I’ve never had any issue with the bouncers there as others have apparently. The clientele is annoying, think mainly hammered college bro’s and woo girls. The bartenders seem to not care that much about making drinks, I’ve encountered a couple who just seemed to hate life and grabbing a beer was the hardest thing to do at that given moment. I get that it’s water street, but seriously…

I feel terrible to say this, given I have good night here before, but I would not recommend this bar to anyone. The bouncers literally forcefully grabbed my friend and threw him out because he «looked tired». What’s more, the bouncer had the audacity to grab him by the arms from the public sidewalk and force him into the street and into the meridian without any issue. This bar, it’s owners, and particularly its bouncers are unnecessarily violent, and it will result in me and my friend never returning again… I might suggest you avoid even trying it out in the fist place when there are many other bars to check out.

Food was really not that great. Plus a tad but homophobic for my liking. The audacity of the manager to kick guys out knowing they were part of a bar crawl because they were perceived as gay. Shame on you!

Nice place, not that busy, so were seated immediately. Waitress was a little MIA, barely came to check on us during dinner. Food was okay. Try it if you want to eat something fast and don’t want to wait.

Headed over for Trinity because the Swinging Door Exchange on Michigan Ave couldn’t accommodate 8 people before 7:30 pm even though I had called ahead and requested a reservation at 5:30 pm – They didn’t have a reservation till 7:30 pm. Back to Trinity… street parking only, can accommodate large groups, full bar, not busy at all when my group of 8 went on a Friday night around 6/6:30 pm. But there Fish Fry is a tad on the expensive side for Milwaukee standards. «Friday Fish Fry» — $ 12.50 for lightly battered Pollack, sea salt fries or potato pancakes with apple sauce, cole slaw, rye bread, tartar sauce, and lemon wedge. Fried Cod — $ 13.50 for lightly battered cod, sea salt fries or potato pancakes with apple sauce, cole slaw, rye bread, tartar sauce, and lemon wedge. Fried Perch — $ 15.50 for lightly breaded lake perch, sea salt fries or potato pancakes with apple sauce, cole slaw, rye bread, tartar sauce, and lemon wedge. Tilapia — $ 13.50 for panko crusted pan fried or blackened tilapia filet with roasted red potatoes, steamed veggies, rye bread, tartar sauce, and lemon wedge. I believe, the entire group either had the Cod or Fried Perch with one person getting the club sandwich. I had the Cod with Fries. Nice batter on the 4 pieces of cod and it wasn’t too oily; tasty too. The fries were nothing special but were good. The cole slaw is not the creamy kind some may be used to; it was like a vinegar/fruity taste type. I wasn’t a big fan of the cole slaw. All in all a decent meal for a last minute change. The service was great too and the food came out in a decent amount of time. If it wasn’t for the price, I’d give this place 4 stars but in my heart I can only give it one since you can get the same quality for much less at numerous places around the metro Milwaukee area.

Trinity Three has a rather interesting concept going on. It is actually 3 pubs all in one location. My husband and I were here recently to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had dinner at the pub located in the middle, Gallagher’s. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food here is what you would normally see at any Irish pub themed restaurant. It is very good, though. I had the Reuben, minus the sauerkraut. The corned beef was tender and delicious. The Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing were perfect additions to the sandwich. My husband had the Molly’s chicken sandwich. It is a grilled chicken breast topped with shaved ham, grilled asparagus, roasted garlic cream and white cheddar cheese. He thoroughly enjoyed it. For beverages, we tried the Guinness Blonde beer. We had never had it before, and we really liked it. Trinity has a great selection of beer to choose from. The pubs have very nice, spacious bar areas to sit at. Trinity serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm. I definitely want to to come back and give their brunch a try.

We were laughing. What the hell are FOUR Irish pubs doing on one corner in Milwaukee? Oh, they’re all owned by the same folks? Ok… the marketing style is beyond me but the breffass sammich wasn’t. The potatoes that came with it were too greasy, cheesy and wow, to be legal. It’s not typically my kind of place, but I didn’t hate it, especially at noon, a quieter time of day.

Love this place. The food is amazing. The trinity potatoes are the best thing ever. We’ve only ever been for brunch and each time were highly satisfied customers. Great food, good service, good price and less crowded than other hot spots. The patio is the perfect place to unwind.

I won a free gift certificate from Milwaukee Downtown and was expecting a great experience. However, my experience was anything but that. I guess I have been watching too much of Master Chef and had higher expectations. I made a ressie but there was no need. There was only one other couple in the place at 6:15PM. We seated ourselves. Our table was dirty. Our waitress came and saw that we had a gift certificate. She took our order all at once. I don’t know if that was a good idea? Service was incredibly slow. She would pop in once every 10 minutes or so. I had the sliders and my hubby had the corn beef egg rolls. They were meh. My sliders were really pink inside(moo pink). Then the main dishes came out.(after some time) My hubby had the whiskey salmon and I the pot roast. The salmon was lightly seasoned and flavored. We expected a stronger flavor. His asparagus shouldn’t have been on the plate. They were really tiny and over cooked. His carrots as well as mine were raw. My pot roast and potatoes were very good. The pot roast tender and the mashed potatoes were very creamy. The carrots I couldn’t even stick my fork into. Dessert was a small sliver of Baileys cheesecake. Good but the smallest portion of cheesecake I have ever seen. Would I pay $ 25.00 for this meal? Probably not. Will I return? The magic 8 ball says NO.

So I want to start this review with… «If the owner wants to contact me I’d be seriously happy to tell him about my experience.» First, a group of 8 of us were wandering around on Sunday before Memorial Day, by no means had we had to much to drink, we all work in service industry and pretty much just got done with work. We were looking for a good time, that’s all. One of the guys with us has a tattoo on his neck but is a super cool guy, doesn’t cause problems and was denied entry. I asked the bouncer, «hey man, who owns this place?» He said«figure it out,» I said, «really you won’t tell me?» He SHOVESME! Shoves me. Yes I said the bouncer shoved me… So I was like«really dude? You’re going to shove me for asking this?» Not a place for me or my friends I guess. Don’t ask the bouncers any questions or you might get shoved. For no reason. I don’t know who owns this place, someone at a different door said«some guy in Florida» but I’d love to know and discuss with him what is going on at one of his establishments.

I only recently found out that Trinity is a full restaurant during the day. I was picking up a jacket a friend had left there on a Saturday night, and when I walked in the next morning, it was like stepping into Narnia. The whole place was clean, bright, quiet and smelled great. Total 180 from the night before.
Flash forward a month, and I’m walking in with a few friends, curious about how this place holds up during the day, and we were pleasantly surprised.
We were greeted within a few moments of walking in, and had a server greet and take our drink orders shortly after being sat. The fare is standard brunch offerings, with different egg and hash dishes, as well as a few Irish options as well, such as corned beef and whiskey salmon.
I’m a sucker for corned beef, so I figured I’d give it a shot, with my friends ordering chicken tenders, and eggs benedict, and it all came out within 15 minutes, and was served to us without intruding into our conversation.
The food presentation was very impressive, with my corned beef plate looking amazingly appetizing, with cabbage, mashed potatoes, and carrots. The portion size was very generous as well, and I’m definitely getting three meals out of it. The egg plates also looked sizable, and were presented very nicely as well, however the chicken tenders came out on a plate with fries scattered everywhere, and a few tenders tossed on top. While this isn’t BAD, it seemed a bit out of place with the careful placing and garnishes the other dishes received.
When it came to the actual food, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations garnered by the appearance. The corned beef was good, ifnothing to write home about, however the potatoes were a bit dry, while the carrots were very buttery. The egg dishes were great, and the chicken tenders were batter fried, so expect more of a fish and chips style tender, which works well with their fries, which were some of the best I’ve tasted recently.
The prices were very reasonable, and we all felt like we received a pretty good experience for the amount of money we spent, and again, the service was top notch. Attentive, without being intrusive, and very fast.
For brunch in Milwaukee, while there are certainly places I will always insist on, Trinity is not a bad option for meeting a few friends for a recovery brunch, where you really want to get the most bang for your buck

I was pleasantly surprised at Trinity. It’s not that I wasn’t happy to go there, but lots of times, Irish pubs are just ‘ok’ in terms of food because they are focusing on beer. Trinity, however, had good food and a cute atmosphere(and a well stocked drink list!). I wasn’t a huge fan of the nachos as they were on chips and they were a bit greasy, but they did have a lot of toppings and seemed as if they must have been good since they disappeared in a few short minutes! I tried the chicken wrap and it was nicely done — not overly stuffed full of fillings or dressing, but fresh and tasty and also not overly huge(which is nice as I don’t like eating 5 servings of food for lunch). Fries were ok, not amazing, but good. The beer selection was as you would expect from an Irish bar and they let me get a Harp as my beer back on my bloody mary! The bloody mary was delicious and included bacon(yay!) but wasn’t very strong(probably not the worst thing in the world). Overall, definitely a good spot to visit if you’re in Milwaukee and want a tasty bite! Food — 4 Atmosphere — 4 Value — 4 Service — 3(our server, while super nice, got a bit confused when a few folks came later and a few of us slightly moved our chairs and also missed some of the side dishes — which never got fixed) Bathrooms — 4

Came in for the food, not the scene, and enjoyed it. I saw a picture on JSOnline of their corned beef hash and it looked really good and I followed that all the way to the real thing. It was tasty: the eggs were cooked well and the corned beef hash was done up with a lot of interesting stuff, including bacon, which was a powerful addition, I must say. The potatoes were really nice, not overdone. I also had a bite of the breakfast sandwich, which was good. The place was nearly empty except for a few boozers, one or two of which were howling drunk at about 1pm on a Saturday. The servers were nice but it was a slow time for this massive pub(s) and the attentiveness of the staff could’ve been better. Overall not bad for a bite to eat; I could see it being both fun and annoying to drink here during busy times.

Meh. Not my style, not my scene. As Colin A noted, this is an Americanized Irish Pub. Actually, it’s three Americanized Irish Pubs, hence the name. Now, I’m not anti-Americanized Irish Pubs(I happen to like one that lives less than a mile down Water), but this one? Well, it’s just not my cuppa’ Guinness. Pricey drinks, a crowd that makes me feel old and well, sort of good about my station in life(not that I’m judging, I’m just not a coed-Water Street-goer and never have been), and employees that seem more concerned about being a part of it all than actually cranking out drinks as a place like this requires? I’ll pass. The patio’s nice. As Nick K noted, this spot suffers cleanliness issues(esp. in the bathrooms), most likely due to the clientele’s collective state of over-inebriation/inexperience w/holding their alcohol. Not the worst in the Mil, just not my scene.
